Scott is an exceptionally professional, skilled and polite carpenter. He quoted me a fair price to lay my decking and carried out the work within the time scale set out. He was always punctual, kept me informed with the progress during the work and tidied up afterwards leaving only a fantastic looking decked area. He was also happy to source and collect the materials which was a big help to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Jason was a real pleasure to work with and I’m very happy with the result. He fixed 6 wardrobe shelves for me, which turned out to be rather tricky, given that my wardrobe walls were anything but straight. I was looking for a (very!) cost effective solution and he was happy to consider all options that I threw at him (e.g. for batons he used left over pieces of woods lying around in my garage). He also suggested installing some support for the shelves underneath which not only made the shelves really robust, but also ended up giving them some beautiful character! Some extra work was included that he immediately flagged up as extra and priced on the spot very reasonably. This is not the case with most builders: I cannot stand the widespread practice that the client mentions something, the builder agrees without indicating the extra costs, and then the client is surprised at the end the price is not what we agreed on. Jason was very fair and transparent throughout. He also deployed his extensive general builder knowledge and filled in some holes in the wardrobe with (once again left over…) plaster boards “on the fly”. And to top it all off, all these services came at a very reasonable price. In sum, I recommend him warmly.
