Extremely professional, friendly and approachable also the communication was great from start to finish. Both Richard and his partner Owen fitted my kitchen and flooring to a very high standard and went above and beyond to give an all round lovely finish whilst keeping the house clean and tidy.

They have since both worked as furniture makers and teamed up to work in Bristol. They have also worked doing traditional oak timber framing, as well as carpentry on sustainable eco-build projects and for the Architectural Association. We make bespoke free standing and fitted furniture as well as repairing and restoring pieces.

We received a bespoke, hand-carved mahogany four poster bed as a wedding present more than 25 years ago. Over the years, and following several house moves, the bed received a lot of abuse - at one point even the posts were cut down so the frame would fit in a loft conversion with a sloping ceiling, and (I hate to admit it) my husband even attached side panels - using huge industrial nails - to extend it so we could fit a king size mattress. Desperate to have the bed restored to its former glory, Felix came to the rescue. His expertise and dedication are second to none. He stripped the frame to reveal the natural beauty of the wood underneath (I had always hated the dark red-brown stain that had been applied by the original carpenter) and repaired the posts and panels seamlessly - you would now never know that they had been savaged so brutally! The finished frame is far superior and more beautiful that when we first received it and I can't express in words how utterly delighted I am in Felix's work. He was on time, kept me informed of progress, worked to our agreed budget and was a really pleasant and friendly person to work with. I fully recommend Felix to undertake any woodwork/carpentry project that you are considering.

Callum’s a very polite and friendly lad, who takes pride in what he does. Nothing was too much trouble and the job was reasonably priced too. There were some tricky bits along the way but he cracked on and came up with solutions. Looking forward to getting him back in for some more work in the near future.

Dan was a trustworthy & competent tradesman who did a great job. We had some doors to hang in a garage conversion that had 'wonky' door frames (husbands DIY!!). Dan did a fab job of making these doors fit within the openings and doors that shut perfectly. The job was completed to a great standard and by a really nice chap as well, thanks Dan.
