He quoted for 1 day’s labour for my carpentry work. First day he made a mistake so I had to buy new architraves, then he left after 3 hours work due to a personal issue. I was very understanding and he assured me he’d return to finish the job. He returned and made another big mistake. I had told him on the first day which side to hang the door. This was very important because of where the light switch was. In case he forgot, I left notes all over the door lining stating where the door hinge should go. He ignored my notes and put the door on the wrong side. When I noticed after I got back he said he would not change it because he asked someone whether to listen to my note and they both decided that it was better on the other side. He did not notice where the light switch was. Now you have to open the door, enter into a dark room, close the door and search in the dark for the light switch. He refused to correct his mistake and said he’d spent 2 days doing 1 day’s work so he couldn’t correct it. I was shocked as he went home after 3 hours to take care of his personal stuff. This had inconvenienced me as I had to delay painting the room because he left, so I couldn’t believe that he would use his own cancellation as an excuse for not correcting his mistake. I was really let down by this behaviour. The other work he did was ok but 2 mistakes cost me to replace architraves and will cost me further to replace and install the door. Mistakes happen but not correcting them is terrible

Mateusz, better known as Matthew, has just completed a job at my house consisting of replacing our bedroom ceiling, installation of downlights, repairs and redecoration, as well as the installation of a concealed shower, shower tray and cubicle, which involved some retiling and electrical repairs to mirror lights & switch. Matthew has done a great job, working conscientiously and paying attention to every detail. We are delighted with the outcome and it has been a real pleasure to have him working here. The work has been completed to a high standard and for a very reasonable price. I have already recommended Matthew to a neighbour and I would not hesitate to ask him back to do more work for us in the future.

The job was carried out to perfection. The doors on the log cabin in my garden were falling off but it was not straightforward to replace them as the door frame was not straight. Stan corrected the angle of the frame and replaced the door to a very high standard. Very pleasant service and reasonable price.

Samer was brilliant and I will definitely be hiring him again in the future. I hired Samer to make shelves and a desk in my alcoves. He completed the job in a day and the shelves/desk look absolutely amazing. Samer was friendly and very very reasonable in price- I had a few quotes for this job before I hired Samer, some of the tradesmen were quoting around £1000 and told me it would take them a week to complete the job!!! Samer worked for less than half the price the other men had quoted me- with an absolutely wonderful result in one day. I am so happy I found Samer! I will be recommending him to all my friends and family from now on and i'll defo be in touch in the future with more jobs. Thank you Samer!!

Peter was the on-site foreman on our complete house renovation, which took just over a year. This included an additional ensuite pod bedroom in the roof and a side-return and extension to the kitchen. Peter was totally reliable throughout the project and thoroughly professional. Throughout this time we were living in the house with the children. He was always on time, managed the on-site team well and communicated clearly with us. His workmanship is high quality and he was also a stickler for checking the work of others and getting it updated if it wasn’t up to scratch. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter.
