I'm Tom, the person behind Furze & Fix — a local handyman service based in Furzedown, South London. I've been hands-on with DIY and home improvement projects since studying Design & Technology at school, and over the years that's grown into a genuine passion for building and fixing things properly. I have been doing first and second fix Carpentry since I left Richmond College in 2002 and successfully completed an NVQ 3 in Carpentry. I started off doing an apprenticeship with my fathers building company (Norson Renovations LTD) where we specialised in lofts extensions, extensions and total refurbs.
