Obtained 3 quotes and selected Nathan after he visited the site and reviewed work and had conversation. Waited 2 weeks for him to become available and on first day contacted me to say he was pulling off the job. Apparently the door frames of this 1920's house required him to do much remedial work to get them square - primarily Nathan blàmed the plasterer who had overboarded the walls. Walls were passed for payment by two separate surveyors with over 80 years experience of the contruction industry. While it is accepted there were remedial efforts to make the frames square, this is to be expected on a house of this age - and perhaps this is where Nathan lacks experience. If Nathan had wanted to outline additional work and additional money this was open to negotiation - the most unprofessional thing is to turn up on the day of work starting and say you don't have time to do any additional work - especially as the job had been viewed before the work commenced. Didn't want to damage his reputation by providing "sub-standard work", but seemingly oblivious to the reputational damage of letting a customer down at the last minute. I have my doubts as to whether Nathan has the skills to work on houses of this age.

I cant fault Rhidian and his team- they were professional from start to finish. It was a refreshing change to have builders that kept in touch throughout, who did the work swiftly and left the house cleaned up afterwards. They are clearly experienced and work to a high standard. They woyld be the first people I go to if I ever need more work done

AFTER MESSAGING ON MY BUILDER, JAMIE AND KEIGAN GOT IN TOUCH AND ARRANGED TO COME AND SEE THE BATHROOM. THEY WERE ON TIME, POLITE AND COURTEOUS AND MESSAGED ME TO LET ME KNOW THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY. COMMUNICATION AND BEING PUNCTUAL IS MASSIVELY IMPORTANT TO US AS WE ARE ALSO BUSY PEOPLE. THEIR QUOTE BLEW THE COMPETITION OUT OF THE WATER AND I HAD A GOOD FEELING ABOUT THEM BOTH. I ORDERED THE BATHROOM ITEMS AND THEY CHECKED THE ORDER OVER BEFORE DELIVERY WAS ARRANGED TO MAKE SURE I HAD EVERYTHING THAT THEY NEEDED. KEIGAN WORKED ON HIS OWN ALL WEEK STARTING ON THE MONDAY AT 8AM AND FINISHING BY MID MORNING ON THE FRIDAY OF THE SAME WEEK. HE DID A FULL RIP OUT AND COMPLETE TOTAL NEW BATHROOM INSTALLATION . I WORK FROM HOME AND HONESTLY HARDLY KNEW HE WAS IN THE HOUSE . HE LEFT THE ROOM AND THE OUTSIDE RUBBISH AREA NEAT AND TIDY EVERY DAY. WE ARE OVER THE MOON WITH THE END RESULT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH- ITS RARE TO FIND SOMEBODY WHO TURNS UP AS PROMISED AND GETS ON WITH IT

Great! He did it! I have kept my lovely wooden front door for much less than buying a cheap white plastic one. It is now beautifully golden, weatherproof and able to withstand anything the weather will throw at it for years to come. His care for detail and for what I wanted were upmost in his mind and I found him very charming. The door finish was very good. Recommend highly.

Posted a job on my builder, within 5 minutes had a message of PROPEC and within an hour had a quote, quote was very reasonable, gave them a date and time and they arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves, the job was done to a professional standard and very nice company to deal with, would recommend to family and friends, thanks a lot PROPEC.
