Windows & Doors (Wooden)- 25 Aug 2026
Piotr is a true master of his craft, and I'd strongly recommend him to anyone who needs wooden sash windows repaired or restored. He is a real gentleman and an absolute pleasure to have around - polite, punctual, hard-working, knowledgeable, meticulous, and an excellent communicator. My windows were badly rotten and in serious disrepair, but Piotr reassured me they could be fully restored. Throughout the work, he took time to explain his methods and choices - from the different woods and repairs to the sealants, glazing, and painting process. His careful approach made complete sense as I watched the restoration unfold, and it was clear he takes enormous pride in doing things properly. Piotr exceeded my expectations in every respect - I couldn't be happier with the finished result. The gloriously restored windows genuinely look better than newly installed ones. Exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Piotr or use him again.

Joinery & Cabinet Making- 29 Jun 2018
WARNING DO NOT HIRE We have recently redone our whole flat and We asker Zachary to box in some pipe work, lay laminate floor, install skirtking boards and radiator cover and then paint wood work which ended up costing £2700 even though th quote was for much less we think he did this to get the job over the other quotes we received The standard of work was absolutely shocking and sadly we were away whilst he finishers and he pushed us into paying before we could see it claiming he needed it desperately (I know rookie mistake on our part) He claimed he sanded down the wood work but everything was rough to the touch and had old paint chips coming through. after hiring another tradman to Put it right they told me he had not even applied a top coat and had only painted with primer after emailing back and forth for weeks he after first denying our issues promised to come fix the issues however after pestering him for over a month this did not materialise and he didn’t get in contact with us. The laminate flooring is coming away from the walls and some of the joints are not clicked in place properly we are gutted we used him and not somewith more feedback We won’t be making that mistake ever again. The skirting board has huge bits of dried glue coming out on some of the edges honestly I don’t know how he could leave a job like this - some people have no shame! DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! If you want any pics to prove this you can email me taylormodu@gmail.com

I needed the work done quickly as a tread on my outsides stairs was rotten. Henri quoted for the job and it was completed the next day. The work was completed in a professional manner and I found Henri pleasant to deal with. He and his man brought all materials and tools which was very helpful. They left my property neat and clean after doing the work. I would hire Henri again should I need any further work doing.

Diego came to my house to install coving and skirting boards. He was in for 2.5 days – it felt like a 3 week nightmare. Diego doesn’t use dust sheets, or lay down mats on the floor – and he doesn’t cut the wood outside so your house isn’t absolutely covered in sawdust. By the end of the 2.5 days my house was an absolute mess – caulk and filler smeared all over my slate floors, walls and even front door – and sawdust everywhere – that lovely mixture then had water added to it when Diego decided he would put back my radiators (I told him I would do it) and broke a valve thus flooding my living room. Fortunately nothing is Diego’s fault – the valve broke because it was “wobbly” (it was 3 months old – it was not “wobbly”). And the reason he didn’t put dust sheets or mats down is because he thought he was only doing the coving (ah so the mess from that is fine), and the reason the skirting board sits 5cm (not an exaggeration) from the wall is because the house has funny angles (Diego has no way of measuring the angles because he’s missing half the tools he needs to do the job – he borrowed my electric screwdriver, drill, sandpaper, screws, ladder, rawplugs etc – and has no workbench so was cutting everything on floor). And finally when attempting to tidy the mess at the end of his work – he decided the smart way to get the smeared filler and caulk off my lovely black slate floor would be to sand it. I’m now having to find someone to fix the scratches all over my floor.
