It's been more than a year since we had Lee to help sort out our new home. Positives - he was prompt when he came to quote, he gave a fair price, he started roughly around the date he said he would, he finished the majority of the work in tight schedule allowing us to move in to a clean home. We were so impressed by him and his professionalism that we asked him to do more work.. this is when it went a bit pear shaped.. Negatives - not turning up due to variety of reasons, delaying tasks, I think some he couldn't do but instead of saying he can't, he kept saying he hasn't forgotten about us and will be back, weather related reasons often cited. In terms of costs - he didn't fit loft ladder as paid for but he then left his own ladder at the property. He was to fit doors - fair few of them not cut well or fitted well, they need adjusting and sorting. I last heard from him in November 2023.. Disappointed as he was a nice guy and even my children called him Uncle Lee

Anthony was outstanding. After 3 months of various trades being in our home refurb project we were wary and weary. The workmanship quality has been extreme in both terrible and excellent. We are now hard to please. Immediately meeting Anthony we were put at ease, very likeable, excellent communicator, honest, fair priced, highly skilled and knowledgeable. His colleague John equally the same impression. Ant did a brilliant job. He is one of those that don't want to feedback as want him never to be busy. Credit where credit is due. These two are gems.

Ryan fitted 6 new doors in our house and skirting board in our downstairs dining area kitchen & hallway. He was friendly, punctual and the quoted price was as expected. He completed the job to a good standard, and regularly checked with us our preferences before proceeding. The work was all completed within the agreed time-frame and we would not hesitate to ask Ryan to complete any carpentry work for us again in the future.

AG Joinery sourced and fitted a kitchen; laid a large are of wooden flooring, including on some uneven floors; put up around 100 meters of continuous skirting and architrave; built a step and a complete set of pantry shelves. Anthony provided us with an excellent service ahead of time, very diligently checking every detail of the work we wanted and staying in frequent contact. The work itself was carried out to a very high level of workmanship, quickly and efficiently done. Of the several joiners we had on the job, AG definitely provided us with the highest quality of service and work and we are extremely pleased with the job. We had endless builders and contractors telling us we should have a Howdens kitchen yet the cost and quality of the kitchen AG delivered was outstanding and we'd recommend AG Joinery for any similar jobs.

Mark has done a fabulous job removing metal spiral stairs and building a wooden staircase including a understairs cupboard and brilliant plastering giving a curved ceiling. Not an easy job as walls not square. Mark has also laid a cork floor and fitted a new shower enclosure. I've been really pleased with both jobs.He turns up on time and gives updates throughout the work. Clean and tidy and has sense of humour which is always handy. Mark is an excellent all round builder who I would highly recommend.
