I hired Martyn and his team to cut in a roof on a new build as well as felt batten and tile. They also renewed the roof of an existing property too. Initial contact was easy, Martyn visited the property to see what the job entailed and promised me a quote within a few days - which came in good time. Martyn and his team started when they said they would and kept to timescales and budget. Communication was excellent and they turned up exactly when they said they would. The team were respectful and really nice chaps. The job was finished to a very good standard and I'm really pleased. I would not hesitate to recommend Cutworx to family and friends! Thanks guys!

Rob Workman IS a master craftsman. I know it says so in writing. But now that our extensive rebuild and extensions are complete, we have seen it with our own eyes as our project unfolded. Rob took our falling down, damp, mouldy, unattractive bungalow and gave us back the keys to what more than one visitor has described as a ‘Grand Designs’ and stunning modern home that meets the highest grade of eco builds. As well as working with meticulous care & always remeasuring twice ‘just to make sure’, Rob proved himself to be good at tackling the challenges & curve balls that doing up a house is always going to throw up. Our roof, and two of the walls, proved to be insubstantial to the point of dangerous. Rob worked hard to find a cost-effective solution which met the approval of the building inspector and structural engineers. As well as Rob working on site, he brought Matt and Josh who were the epitome of polite, careful workers whose own professionalism at everything from groundwork, brickwork roofing & much else besides was a pleasure to see. Other contractors who Rob brought in - such as Simon Stadden Windows - produced great quality work to complement that of the main team. We are than pleased with the work done, with the timeliness of the work, with the price, with the tidiness of the team, and above all with the gorgeous, solid house they have left behind for us. We can recommend Rob and his team unconditionally to those looking for builders.

Paul did an excellent job at short notice (I got lucky with timing). It was quite a small job laying ply wood on top of floorboards with many many pipes. There were no leaks! The floor was 100% solid. No movement or creaking. It was ready for the lino to be laid on top as planned same day. We really appreciated the professionalism and end result

We contacted Darius to build a fitted wardrobe in our house. From the outset he was friendly, flexible and professional. He met us at our home and we discussed the job. He listened to what we needed and wanted and came up with ideas on design, the best use of the space and layout. He sketched a few of the options and we chose one. We agreed a price which was very fair and transparent and was based on the costs of materials and how many days it would take him to build and install it. He started the job on time and arrived early each day, working hard throughout the job. He was clean and courteous around the house. He kept us informed throughout the job and finished it on time. The wardrobe is beautiful and has been admired by many people including the professional painter who painted it. Darius is a very skilled and meticulous craftsman whose work is of the highest quality. I highly recommend him and will contact him again for our next carpentry/joinery job.

Dan fitted 10 oak doors in the house for us and did a great job. He came the day after us contacting to quote and fitted the doors when they arrived to a really high standard, left everything really tidy and worked through the work much quicker than we expected.

Glyn and Martin did such a fantastic job on our kitchen. They removed a load bearing wall in our terraced cottage, and a second exterior load bearing wall to make way for glass doors across the back. This job needed 3 large steels, and as our house is set back from the road behind another row of houses, it has very tricky access and the steels were a very tight fit and hard to maneovre, which frightened off all the other builders we had to look at the job! They did a fantastic job! They're quick, helpful, hard working, smart and fun to have around. Glyn was available 24/7 for all my questions and had brilliant ideas. They're the best builders we've ever used, and we've used ALOT. I would 100% use them again! They impressed me and my husband from day one when Glyn came for an initial consultation and he took his shoes off and stayed for two hours! They came in bang on budget, no fuss or extras, didn't ask for any payments up front (apart from to buy the steels). They recommended a good structural engineer too. Thank you guys!

Connor fitted 4 new doors for us. He initially visited us to measure up & provide a quote, ordered all the doors & hardware and arrived on time for the agreed day of fitting. Correspondence was great and he discussed and recommended the most suitable doors, taking into account our requirements. He did a fantastic job and we are very happy with the result. Our house isn't the easiest as there are areas that aren't level but Connor made sure that all the doors fitted flush and worked to a high standard, ensuring that we were happy with the adjustments he had to make. He was easy to get on with, very polite & cleaned up after himself. We would definitely recommend his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again should the need arise.
