My name is James Mitchell, I live in Ardingly with my wife and young daughter and have my own cabinet making workshop in Ringmer, Lewes. As a sole trader I can offer a personal experience where I am the designer, maker and installer of your furniture. I have 15 years experience working across all aspects of carpentry and cabinet making. I specialise in painted or wooden fitted furniture including wardrobes, kitchens, bookcases and alcove cabinetry. Mainly working with veneered boards, plywoods, MDF and solid timber to make both modern style furniture and more traditional cabinets depending on your tastes and existing home decor. I will always offer to come visit your home in order to offer an accurate quotation and a set of drawings. I work to a high standard and pride myself on having a friendly and personal approach. I aim to cause as little dust and disruption as possible by forward planning and building as much of a project as I can in the workshop. When it comes to installation I always use dust sheets and extensively clean up after myself, I will always respect your home and the items and people within it. I am also happy to quote to install internal doors, lay floors, wall panelling and other second fix carpentry work.

Been a joiner for 30 years not including apprenticeship my life skill but over years I have trained in plastering,plumbing and bricklaying as it is a skill needed for today's market I can work anywhere in north east and prefer weekend work as I have a full time job also but my love for all things building keeps me active Most people prefer jobs done on a weekend as it gives them clarity and also they have more time to be around when work is being done also assess what I do Money isn't the main factor towards joining my builder it's keeping my skills and problem solving fresh and being in the public eye I own my own van and a lot of equipment that I store in a lock up for particular jobs that arise thank you for taking a moment to read my status it's a privilege to work for whoever needs me
