Andy built a large single story extension at the back of our house in 2013. It is a contemporary design with two sets of large bi-fold doors, two roof lights with a modern rubber roof and zinc fascia. The work included laying a new patio and tiling inside also. A number of internal walls had to be removed so quite a complex job. This is the fourth project that Andy has completed on our house - prior works were bedroom and office extensions, wall removal in kitchen and exterior retaining wall. I have always been delighted with Andy's work hence using him for all of our projects on this house. He is very skilled, sets very high standards for both himself and any trades he brings in, has an amazing work ethic and is a builder that you can trust. Alistair completed a number of jobs for us including refitting our kitchen, removing our garage roof and replacing with a fibre glass structure, raised decking and balustrade, installation of patio doors into an old window frame, installation of window sills, curtain poles and pictures. All work was completed to a good standard and we found Alistair to be reliable and trustworthy. He had keys to our property to come and go as necessary. He is not the cheapest builder you will find but his workmanship and skill is second to none. He has tidy working practices and happily takes on extra tasks. We already have him quoting for additional jobs. I recommend him.

Anthony Kay of Kay's home Improvements fitted my new kitchen for me, I had details of three builders and met with them all and received quotes from them all, I chose Anthony Kay as to me he obviously knew what he was talking about and gave me lots of good advice but let me make all my own decisions, he was genuine, reliable and punctual as well as this the main thing I liked about him was that he is a perfectionist, every part of the job had to be perfect in his eyes, even though we met with a few unexpected obstacles along the way, he went with them and made them right and kept me updated every step of the way but still keeping to the original quote. Now my kitchen is complete, I absolutely love it, it is exactly how I imagined it would look. I am so pleased with the work, that I have recommended Anthony to friends and relatives, I would not hesitate in using Anthony again infact I already have him booked for another job I want doing and any future jobs, he will be the first person I call.

Tim project-managed and undertook the structural restoration of our Victorian granary in 2015. The building was derelict, the roof and first floor having completely collapsed and the upper walls having partially collapsed. Tim rebuilt and pointed the walls, rebuilt (hand-made the oak king posts and purlins) and tiled the roof, installed new joists to the first floor, together with fitting all windows and doors. Tim's workmanship demonstrates excellent attention to detail, a sympathetic approach to the restoration of an old building and an extensive range of skills. I have found Tim to be hard-working, reliable, professional and trust-worthy.

DP builders and joiners carried out various work at our home over the last few years. They replaced all of our internal doors, replaced windows, removed decking and rebuilt it, but the most recent work was completed at the start of this year when they built our extension/garden room. DP builders also fitted our new kitchen and utility room at the same time. They worked exceptionally well, kept to schedule and worked was completed to a very high standard. Daryl even went with my partner to pick and design the kitchen. We found them quick, efficient and very friendly. We would highly recommend Daryl and his team.

Really nice young man. Fast reliable and tidy. Infact have another 2 more projects booked in! So I wrote that review straight after the job....but then my kitten got out chewed through the wire and I got locked in the garden because he hadn't put a handle on the outside of the door luckily im disabled and have a keysafe at my front door or id have been locked out, then when I asked him ti to use stronger wire but he just got the same but smaller he didn't do the roof so he had to come again these are jobs that should have been done to start with but I got invoice! I told him I was getting a maine coon which he was familiar with.....I got my maine dropped off as I said im disabled only to find out the main coons will chew through it I didn't realise you got different grades of wire....so again its out of action, And then he started a job drilled a hole through my cushion flooring and he didn't even tell me. I gave him 1 star not 3

This gentleman has been superb from start to finish. He was very accommodating and was able to work around my schedule. He redid my flooring and the quality of finish was really amazing.
