I was looking for a trade that could meet the job requirements and had a good attitude towards work. After having received few quotes from other trades that I was not happy at all (none of them was doing complete work and was quoting too much due to e.g. some were hiring/subcontracting other people for tiling, electrical work), I was referred to mybuilder.com by a colleague and found John and his son. Our family are very happy with the work they have just completed this week. My additional comments about John: - very reliable, honest, great work attitude - being an all round builder with many years of experience means they do all the work without relying on others which is very cost efficient/helpful and he used his own ideas/experiences to finish the work with top quality - was very responsive on the phone throughout, kept me up to date with the work plan so we could be well prepared e.g. removing old bath, toilet - kept everything tidy during and after the completion of work - 100% committed to the original quote even though they had worked extra hours

Amazing how quickly our problem was solved. Very reasonable rate, job finished within an hour and and a half. No mess, Jim took away all the rubbish and swept the entire area. Strongly recommend The Bromley Carpenter and will in fact be using his expertise shortly on another job.

Darren did a great job installing a new kitchen cupboard in a gap left by my "retired" tumble-dryer. He also created a bespoke wall cabinet for my new, and exposed, fuse box and mains electrical terminals in my hallway...in a rather tricky location near the front door. Both jobs carried out with great precision and look great! He left everything cleaned up nicely and even tweaked a couple of cupboard door soft-closers for me! Very good quality work at a very fair price and a nice chap! I will hopefully use him again soon for a bigger bespoke project to install slide-out cupboards under the "void" under my stairs. No hesitation in recommending him.

The outfit was punctual, and over a couple of days they removed the damp, mould, packed insulation and made a bare MDF wardrobe. Turned out to be tad expensive but worth the money and overall positive experience.
