We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

I also work in bespoke furniture making, bringing to life what people want, built in wardrobe, tables, beds etc. My name is Perri, I am a skilled carpenter with 10 years of experience. The early part of my years being in both first and second fit carpentry and in the later years transitioned into bespoke furniture making, please take a look at the gallery to see some of the projects I have completed. This was always a passion of mine and was making furniture many years before it became my primary professional focus. I have worked in the construction industry coming up to 15 years, a large portion of that was with a building company that worked on small projects such as kitchen/bathroom installation to large projects such as loft conversions and wrap round extensions. This has allowed me to gain a lot of experience in many different building professions and work on a wide range of different property types. This passion became a business in 2019 during the COVID Pandemic when I was unable to work and needed something to occupy my mind and keep me busy. Later in 2019 I was able to return to work but continued to accept small projects and grow the business in my spare time. In April of 2022, I decided to leave my job and work full time on CliveCrafts. I have not looked back since! A big part of my company ethos is customer service, and I strive to make any job I attend be a pleasant experience for all customers. This is done first with my demeanour, being polite and conducting myself in a professional manner.
