Darren is an amazing tradesperson. I hired him to trim a standing desk from 120 cm down to 110 cm, then finish it so it looked like it came from the factory, and finally assemble and install. He did everything flawlessly. He cut the desk precisely, keeping the rectangular shape. The cut edge was finished professionally, and he applied oil so the new edge was indistingu from the manufacturer’s finish. He installed it, connected everything and worked very quickly. Darren’s services were very reasonably priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for any woodwork, furniture jobs or anything similar. He’s a talented, gifted professional - highly recommended.

All my units are supplied and fitted in Mdf excluding painting, your decorator would need to paint my units after i fit them. But my units are top quality. My lead time is 3 weeks approx after i measure up to fitting.

Completed my city and guilds in June 1982 and worked on many projects in all walks of the trade, from building windows in a joinery to hanging 8 foot solid oak doors in office blocks to roofs, housing sites, kitchens and managing refurbishments projects from start to finish. These days as I head towards my retirement I prefer to stick to smaller projects, ideally with interesting carpentry and joinery features such as making furniture and bespoke items that I would have found challenging as kid but more fun as an old hand.

Steve has done an excellent job for us, we couldn’t be more pleased! And at a very fair price! We were going to just get one side of the kitchen top replaced with oak but we decided to do the whole kitchen instead and he has done it all perfectly. Very skilled workman and re plumbed bits in the kitchen and integrated our appliances. So happy we’re getting him to do more work for us with fences and wardrobes. He told us some tips and tricks and how best to look after the oak longer term. Thank you again!
