It’s always nerve racking to select a trades person on here that has no feedback but got Modestas to come and quote because looking at the work he has put up from a carpentry point of view he clearly knew what he was doing. After getting quotes I decided to go ahead with Modestas to construct my pitch roof and to then do the facials and soffits. I’m really happy with the work and timely manor he had it done in. He is good value for money, very tidy and will be getting him in for further work in the coming weeks. If you have him in a shortlist I would 100% recommend this guy.

I hired George and Andrei to refurbish a difficult and a severely damaged wooden and block wall of a living room in one of my rental properties, they both showed great competence and commitment in getting the job done in timely and efficient manner. They are honest, professional, went above and beyond to deliver a great result on a tight budget and fair charge. I’m also amazed about their knowledge in many aspects of building work (carpentry, interior decor, painting, plumbing, tiling etc). Nass is in short a lifesaver. I had been left high and dry by using a couple of unreliable tradesmen on my Loft Conversion. Nass stepped in (came to quote on a Sunday) and started the job soon after. Nass and his team were great, reliable and trustworthy. He did what he said and within the timeframe that he promised. Also he can turn his hand to anything be it tiling, joinery, roofing, painting, plastering and everything was left at an extremely high standard and within budget. Finding workmen in London that are both trustworthy and reliable is extremely difficult. I have already recommended Nass to friends and will be definitely using him again.

Leonard did an excellent job fitting a shelf, two door hangers, wall mounting two tvs, removing a shelf and filling in holes left by old curtain rails and the old shelf. He vacuumed up any mess made by the drilling and was keen to ensure I was happy with the job, he was a bit perfectionist when it comes to tv viewing angles, which was great as so was I! Highly recommend and he gave me the best quote. He takes pride in his work.

Durim, I'm sorry we haven't provided feedback for your work before now. We wouldn't hesitate hiring Durim and team at Baliabuilders. Durim completed a botched half finished kitchen fit out, bedroom fitted shelves and cupboards for us. He also made and decorated a beautiful bespoke fitted wardrobe and understair storage cupboard. Conversions - General- 29 Dec 2021
We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

Shane was helpful,positive and extremely competent. The pre job discussions were by email to which his reply’s were quick and efficient. He turned up on the day of the job at the time he said he would, he was clean tidy and very polite, with a friendly demeanour. Martin came to see the job, quoted, worked, finished, all in a matter of days. Martin knows his craft well. He and his colleague were tidy, meticulous, quick and professional. The job wasn't big but tricky since he had to navigate pipes and uneven floors to make me a fitted cabinet around the bath. His work is of a high quality, he used good materials and did not cut corners. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
