Ray built alcove cupboards in our living room and tailor-made the storage units in the utility room around the pipes and our boiler. During the week Ray worked on site he arrived early in the morning and was very dedicated to his work, and took very few breaks. He sometimes would stay later to ensure he was on-track to finish the job within the given timeframe. After he finished the day, he always made sure the area was left clean and tidy. The job is completed to a high standard at a very competitive price. Ray is definitely the most reliable builder we have come across and if we could we would definitely keep him a secret to everyone. However, Ray deserves to have his good name spread out in the building community. We ended up calling him back to help us with more work in the house. We would 100% recommend Ray to anyone. If only more builders were like Ray!!

One thing that really impressed us and helped us select him for this job was his flexibility and the extra effort he went to source what we wanted unlike some previous people we've used who only use one supplier!! The job of installing a new door grew into partial kitchen refurbishment. Alex has done an amazing job tackling the following: he removed the old countertops, repaired the base units we were keeping, and even repurposed one unit to create a cabinet for bins - reusing the original door and drawer front so it all still matches perfectly. He installed a new countertop, oven, induction hob, and extractor fan, and handled some tricky plumbing to relocate the washing machine and install a new dishwasher. He also cleared out cabinets to make room for a tall fridge/freezer, and installed a new room door and handles. Alex was incredibly proactive, suggesting better ways to use the space (like switching the way a door opened, which worked out much better than our original plan!). He was very tidy, punctual, and finished the bulk of the work in just four days, even popping back on another day to double-check everything. He's a lovely person to have around and does a great job.

We used Stuart to carry out some alterations to our kitchen, convert our garage & construct a link between the two. From the moment Stuart quoted us for the work I was struck by how diligent he was, coming back to discuss his quote & being very clear in everything he had included & equally anything that wasn't. We were delighted that his diligence & care extended throughout the project & to the work that he did, he clearly cared that everything was done correctly, as if it were his own home. He put thought into everything he did & the sequencing of the work, making sure there was as little disruption to us as was possible. He also communicated to us throughout about his plan and any issues he encountered. We are thrilled with the end result, Stuarts work is of a high standard & competitively priced too, I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
