Mokas is a carpentry and construction company with over 24 years of experience in the building trade. Over the years, we’ve worked on all kinds of projects, from smaller carpentry jobs and home improvements through to complete renovations and major structural work. Renovations and alterations are a big part of what we do. We regularly work on existing properties, changing layouts, removing and opening up walls, installing steelwork, altering floors and ceilings, carrying out extensions and making structural changes right through to the roof. Carpentry and joinery are at the heart of our work. We have extensive experience in first fix, second fix, bespoke joinery and cabinet making. Kitchen fitting is also a big part of what we do, from assembling and installing kitchen units to fitting worktops, doors, panels and making sure everything is properly finished. Because we cover both carpentry and general building work, we can take care of different parts of a project without having to bring in several different trades. Whether it’s fitting a new kitchen, making changes to the layout of a property or carrying out a full renovation, we can take the project from the initial structural work through to the finishing touches. We believe in doing a job properly and taking pride in the finished result. We’re reliable, straightforward and easy to deal with. We keep the site as clean and tidy as possible, minimise disruption where we can and always aim to complete the work efficiently without cutting corners. After more than 24 years in the trade, we’ve built up the experience to deal with both straightforward jobs and the unexpected problems that can come up during renovations. From cabinet making and kitchen fitting to structural alterations and complete renovations, Mokas has the experience and skills to bring your project together from start to finish.

I do all first and second fix carpentry. I can't say if I prefer second fix or first fix more because I welcome the change when it comes around. I am time served and like my work to look neat and tidy. I'm always helpful to advise what works and what design may lead to problems later.
