I employed Justin for 3 jobs and had an issue with this work on 2 of them and the materials supplied on another. I asked for a polycarbonate car port. I got corrugated plastic at polycarbonate prices. I asked for a worktop upstand to be fitted which ran under a window sill. I explained that not wanting the cut/join was why I wanted it done by a professional. I was assured that was fine and then received it with a cut/join with no explanation or apology. I asked for a window lining and architrave to be reinstalled. The lining was fixed so twisted that it looks awful, there is a large gap and it needs to be taken back off and redone properly. I messaged Justin about this but received no reply. I am very disappointed, feel ripped off and recommend you avoid employing this untrustworthy and unskilled person.

We needed to reconfigure the downstairs living area of our 70s house to make a more useable living space and of the traders who visited us to see the job, Dan Green from DJG stood out as friendly, trustworthy, knowledgeable and imaginative, helping us to figure out how we could achieve our plan. Once instructed, he started the work quickly and was very communicative, happy to reply to texts and have phone calls to discuss all sorts of things in addition to being easy to talk to on-site. He and his team took out a dividing wall and an old brick fireplace, old floors, old radiators and old doors, and installed a new kitchen, appliances, lighting and flooring, finishing it all off nicely so that our home is now transformed into a beautiful and functional space with a much better flow and more natural light. It has transformed how we live in the house. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Dan for help with future projects.

I couldn’t fault Victor. The communication before the scheduled date was extremely good. He thought about things that we hadn’t thought of, and suggested things too. He was on time, and very professional and thorough with his work. Other work men I have had, has always been a massive clear up afterwards- but not with Victor! He bought everything he needed, did what was required and cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend and we will LOVE Victor to come back and do the other jobs around the house. Thank you Victor!

I usually ask for pictures of the job in some cases to enable me to give an idea of price, I show respect and treat customers with respect, all I ask in return is not to be insulted with trying to haggle my price also please tell me if you don’t want me to do the job, a simple “thanks for the quote but no thanks “ costs you nothing.

Martin talked us through several options for the job when he came to quote for the work. He is knowledgeable and friendly and was happy to answer the million questions my 3 year had for him! The work, to encase boiler pipes and make good damage to woodwork, was completed in less time than expected and as per the quotation. The work area was left clean and tidy and Martin went out of his way to do the job well. We would hire him again for this type of work.

I will travel where I am needed within reason and I have a narrowboat in the Midlands so happy to travel to places in and around this area too as I can stay on the boat. I am thorough in my work too and its rare, if at all, that you will need to ask me back to fix something that has gone wrong after I have left.

Mike was brilliant start to finish, very knowledgeable, clear communication on timings, fitted the door with no fuss in half a day and was competitively priced. Plus went extra mile in pre-painting door before fitting so that it could be hung in cold weather (as exterior door) Would no doubt hire again!

Chris is a nice guy and works very hard. The kitchen was finished quickly and to a reasonable standard. I did find that the attention to detail and quality of finish weren't the best. A few too many corners were cut with the aim of finishing the job quickly, rather than concentrating on giving the best quality finish possible.
