I will give an overview of Costi's work respectfully and with dacorum, unfortunately he has not treated me in the same manner. We discussed the works, costings etc and I was happy, he was appeared polite and friendly. Everything was going great, I was confident in his work when I saw it and all appeared well. Giving credit where credit is due, his work was good and he knew what he was doing. However and sadly, he agreed to clear away some stuff I had (and I have the messages to prove it) but this did not happen and it all went downhill from there. I believe his friend let him down and this appeared to be my fault and I am suffering the backlash of it. I'd dealt with builders before and asked him to write down the quote to avoid problems and as he wasn't going to however, as I just moved home, I was all over the place, so I did not ensure he wrote everything. I stupidly paid him before he finished the work and gave a tip to boot!!! I sit here now out of pocket and have to arrange someone else to finish the job as he left it unfinished other than the clearance as now he refuses to respond to my messages. I think I am more disappointed that someone who is in business has this attitude to a customers and that it appears he feels OK with this. Ergo....As a footnote to whosoever decides to take on this 'businessman' make sure you get everything written down IN FULL and pay when the job is complete fully!!!
