Altin was so reliable and precise on all of his work and was always able to answer any questions we had. After a rogue builder left me with 18 (eighteen) structural issues. Lez and his crew came in transformed my failed extension into a masterpiece. All aspects of the job was done to the highest quality and utmost care and attention to detail was shown to building control needs. They cleaned up after every day and made sure the house was habitable, as I had to live there. Every aspect of the build, from the carpentry, plastering and tiling was first class and their recommend electrician and plumbers were from the same stock. Total professionals. My only regret is that I did not use this builder the first time. The prices were reasonable and even building control had good word to say about their work. Thanks Lez

This is my first ever negative review on MyBuilder. The work was simply an absolute disaster from start to finish and I really regret hiring Ryan. So many issues along the way – right from the off. He said he’d forgotten about a dental appointment so would arrive in the afternoon rather than the morning – then didn’t turn up at all that day. Job rescheduled, turned up, measured, went to purchase materials/get them cut. Materials didn’t fit (blamed that on builders merchant), he couldn’t work with the hinges he’d just purchased (again – the builders merchant only had these hinges = my fault for telling him about them)...on and on it went. He said the work would take 5 hours…not a chance. By the end of the first day, job wasn’t half finished. He said I was to pay him half the money and he’d come back another time to finish the job–wouldn’t tell me when though as he ‘had work’. I knew he wouldn’t come back so I refused. So he said he’d rip out what he’d already done so no-one else could finish the job. Fast forward lots of shouting from me, he agreed to leave his tools there overnight and return the next day. He ‘completed’ the job – I really wasn’t happy with the result - but was told I was too fussy and that was all I was getting. I paid him the full amount to avoid any further arguments (my 7yr old was home by then). A few days later I ended up having to rip everything out and get someone else to do the job from scratch. My advice is to avoid.
