Graeme did an amazing job building storage around my fireplace. Had I know before I bought Ikea cabinets that he could build bespoke, I would have went for that! You live and learn. He combined bespoke with what I bought and I’m delighted with the finish. Highly recommend. Hard worked, on time and would definitely use again! Thank you

Cowboys, avoid!!!! Arranged a worktop fit, Ryan and his mate arrived and set up in my dining room, cutting and routing with no extraction. Left a failed fit with over £900 of damage to worktop, cooker hood and induction hob, all brand new box fresh and now scrap. Asked for reasonable resolution but just got ghosted. Absolute shocker, trading standards now involved.

I received a quote 3 days later which was extremely high. I decided to go ahead as I felt assured he would be the right person for the job. I emailed him asking when he would be available - no reply. I emailed again - no reply. I contacted him on here to which he replied he hadn’t seen my email. He still didn’t answer my question on his availability. I emailed him again the following day to which I received a 1 word answer saying ‘Ikea’ feeling slightly unsettled. I emailed him again today and he has returned with a disgraceful insulting reply. Telling me he had already replied to 7 of my emails since yesterday. I had only sent 2 and he still didn’t answer when he would be a available Shocking attitude. I was a bit nervous about using My Builder again after having a really bad experience with the last carpenter we hired from the site. However we booked Steven and he was brilliant. He came when he said he would, he charged what he said he would and he was polite, friendly and really knowledgeable. At times I also install kitchens, build decks, pergolas and other outdoor shelters. I'm just as happy creating my own designs for you as I am working with you to bring your own ideas to life.
Asked Damien to build a custom box to cover the electricity meter, along with custom shelves to fit an alcove. He came round to take measurements, provided quote quickly, once accepted he kept me updated on timescales and updates with the process of staining wood and how the box was coming along. Communication was excellent and turned up on agreed install day to install shelves and box. Very happy with the work, looks even better than I imagined. The quality is very high and no issues with installation, was very tidy and respectful of the house. Have already asked for more/future work to be done.Latest review:
