I hired this carpenter for a job 4 weeks ago and the experience has been disappointing. The job date was cancelled or rescheduled around five times for various reasons, including weather, wrong door sizes, and no-shows. Despite paying upfront for the materials (doors), one door was left packaged while the other was cut up and discarded because it did not fit. Since then, the carpenter has disappeared and does not respond to calls or messages. His company phone number is also unreachable. I requested a refund but have received no response. I was told he was robbed of his tools, but this does not excuse the unprofessional handling of the job. I am very disappointed and plan to report this to Trading Standards. I would caution others against hiring this carpenter.

I am happy to be able to give Pierre his first review on My Builder.... I was really pleased to find Pierre. He is such a nice person, very honest, punctual and hard working. From initially wanting someone to build a small cupboard in our attic, the job grew... he also helped us lay a floor and put down some laminat in the attic. His back ground in architecture was very helpful as he raised questions and consequently influenced the design of the space to something different and better than we would otherwise have done. He can turn his hand to anything; we've already had him back to hang a door and build some shelves. We are very pleased with the jobs he did.

Rob was friendly, reliable and very knowledgeable. Five doors were fitted in a day, the doors needed trimming to fit out of shape frames but this was completed to a very high standard and look great. As the door handles I had order had not arrived in time, Rob is coming back to fit these included in the overall price when it is convient for me. I would highly recommend Rob and would definitely use him again in the future.

Neil (from Hants and Surry Garden Rooms Ltd) was an absolute God send! From start to finish, Neil was super-reliable, with excellent comms and did the most fabulous job. Neil fitted a new door, door frame and sundry other items to split a house into two separate apartments at the stairs level in the hallway -- I had an idea in my mind what I wanted it all to look like when complete, but the results of Neil's hard work surpassed this by a country mile. I will not lose his number! First rate job in every sense. I highly recommend.

Peter and his assistant installed 9 internal doors 6 of them fire doors so that my house was to the standard set by Rushmoor Borough Councils Housing Department for The Rented Shared Property Sector. The works were carried out professionally and to a very high standard. They cleared all the rubbish up and I cannot fault them for how professional they were. I would recommend them to anyone they are excellent.

I have never had a floor fail on me and have never been called back because the customer was not happy. I can solve damp problems, cracked screed and leveling of screeds I have undertaken many large projects such as London School of Economics, Harrods and Diesel stores I am fairly priced and think I offer value for money for my customers I have 100s of recommendations and testimonials if you would like to see them please just ask.
