Just retired after doing over 25 years in the Fire Service. Before this I was a bespoke joiner for a number of shop-fitting firms. My work included building from scratch one-offs such as reception counters and display furniture for car showrooms, hospitals and department stores etc. Always done joinery for friends and family whilst I was in the Fire Service, these jobs included such things as kitchens, bedrooms, doors, skirting, fencing, media walls, etc Recently self taught myself how to plaster and have done this for family and friends Looking for work but not too much. Iv been doing joinery for nearly 20 year. I've done site joinery and bench joinery . I've been fitting fire doors for over 4 years and I'm also FIRAS qualified. My name is Isaac, I’m a self employed joiner/kitchen fitter based in Sheffield. As far as qualifications go i have a level 2 carpentry qualification, CSCS certified, SSSTS qualified and basic first aid training. But beyond the paper, I have grown up with parents who have renovated every house i have ever lived in. So, fortunately enough for me I feel I have a firm understanding in most aspects of the construction world. ‘Ground-up’ builds, extensions, knock throughs etc. You name it.
