1st and 2nd fix carpenter, I like to do some joinery and hand built furniture work also. Completed my city and guilds in June 1982 and worked on many projects in all walks of the trade, from building windows in a joinery to hanging 8 foot solid oak doors in office blocks to roofs, housing sites, kitchens and managing refurbishments projects from start to finish. These days as I head towards my retirement I prefer to stick to smaller projects, ideally with interesting carpentry and joinery features such as making furniture and bespoke items that I would have found challenging as kid but more fun as an old hand.
