Dave, gave a prompt and competitive price then came to do the work promptly too. He did everything and when the job expanded a bit (to re-laminating a staircase) he went out of his way to come back and do the extra stuff, too (for extra day's pay, as arranged). A good guy.

Douglas arrived the same day I contacted him and provided a fair quote for the work that needed doing - approx 3 days work; tiling, painting, fixing shelves, clearing garden etc. He was able to start the job 2 days later and took me to get the materials as I don't have access to a car. He then worked through the weekend to get the job done - on time, on budget and to a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend Douglas and will contact him again if I ever need any more work doing! The best of the best!! Thats how I would describe Fresh Look Builders! From the offset Brett called and advised the best course of action in what I would describe as a nightmare job and I never even met him. He quoted me after viewing the job and I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive his quote was. Brett liased with my tenants and organised everything from rental of temporary equipment I needed to clearing up the mess afterwards. I had absolutely no fuss, no stress or hassle and the job was completed around my tenants. I was kept informed daily of the progress that was being made. Brett is polite, friendly, realistic and extremely reasonable. I have absolutely no doubt I will be calling on him again in the future. Every tradesman should be like this! Thank you very much Brett.

At the start I found vasil friendly knowledgable and keen to get the job. He Quoted the whole job would take 4 days fand was the cheapest quote received but didn't finish on fourth day as expected. Stated he will be back on Wednesday but failed turn up and said later on he had To go work and would be over Saturday. Turned up Saturday with friend to complete the job. When he said he had finished I Went over the job and pointed out errors such as door hinges missing screws which he responded screws are rubbish instead of asking for new screws he was happy leaving a number of doors hanging with 1 screw on each hinge. Three of the six door stoppers were not pinned in level so the door either kicked out at the bottom of forward. Instead of just doing the adjustments he decided to argue saying I was looking for an excuse not To pay him. Refused leave my house until I paid him and was shouting so I called the police and he left prior to them arriving. Prior to starting He had never mentioned he wanted payment on daily rate until he finished first day work which I didn't like but agreed as his work was good. In summary His work is very good and I would prefer him to have completed the work and do adjustments but he attitude of someone making errors to avoid being paid is wrong. Made a little mess but cleaned up most of it. Would say use him if you can agree with payment terms and snagging on a daily basis.

My partner and I invited Ionas Property Developers to quote on a fairly extensive renovation and redecoration project on our home in August, 2016. Our budget was limited, as was our time schedule, but above all, we were looking for a candidate with whom we could have a collaborative working relationship, this being a project we had a huge personal investment in. We were impressed and struck with Greg’s professional and punctual presentation on our first meeting. Unlike a number of other contractors interviewed, what set Greg apart was his ability to listen and take on board our brief, which was highly design - driven. He was also open to discussing our budget limitations and from the outset inspired complete trust that he would be able to balance our expectations and our budget without compromising on the quality and finish we required. Based on this strong first impression, we hired him. Working around hugely disruptive delays from some other suppliers, Greg and his team delivered the work to a standard that far exceeded our expectations and managed to complete within a tight schedule, with only minor and justifiable adjustments to the initial budget. We were 100% thrilled with the results. I can without a shadow of doubt recommend Ionas. Behind the true craftsman with an obsessive eye for detail and finish, there is also a thoughtful, insightful and considerate family man. This will make him our first and only choice for any future projects. A true find.
