I could not recommend Dale Smith. Whilst he did a reasonable job removing the fitted bedroom furniture, he did not fulfil the brief. He did not make good the walls and ceiling to an acceptable standard. It was less than a days work and I was paying him nearly £800. He fitted all the furniture into his van, ready to take to the tip. When I asked him to return to complete the job, he replied that if I didn’t pay him he would return and leave all the fitted furniture on my door step. I paid him £700 but then had to employ another tradesperson to fill the holes left in the walls and ceiling, so that I could have the room painted.

The results are outstanding, Robert worked so hard to get our shelves looking perfect- having to shape them to the slightly uneven walls He is clearly very skilled. Excellent work, delivered on time by an excellent craftsman. We thoroughly recommend Damien and Louise for anyone seeking carpentry and general maintenance work. From the start the communication was proactive, helpful and explanatory and they demonstrated flexibility and support when we asked for additional work to be done (we needed the new garden gate to be matched and painted to the fence) The main job was to remove and replace all kitchen worktops, (none average sizing) and fit wooden batons and edge finishing-a finicky and complex task. Damien’s attention to detail and perfectionist eye delivered a job which surpassed our expectations and we are delighted with the finished result. We will definitely hire Damien again for future work.
