Couldn't fault MDC construction at all. Great workmanship, always arrived when stated, communicated and asked questions throughout the job and discussed ways of completing the job to my satisfaction. At the end of the working day the area was cleaned to a high standard. The final price was actually cheaper than quoted so honesty is also a quality they have. Really good son and father team, would definitely use them again.

Neil was brought in to construct a single storey extension to our house After trawling through numerous companies we were delighted to have found Neil as he is a bricklayer to trade unlike most other companies who are joiners who employ bricklayers and grounds workers and we know building an extension requires 80-90 percent brick and ground work and all other externals. From the moment my wife and I met Neil and his team we knew we had found the right builder. Right from the word go we could see the professionalism and after every day's work the site remained tidy.Communication was never an issue as we were always kept in the loop what was happening, when and where. Over all we are delighted that our extension came in at a good price, on time and and looks the way we wanted it too! Neil and his co worker Barry are two very friendly and easy to get on with guys. My wife child minds from home and this can cause a lot of problems when workmen come as we need to make sure the premises are kept safe and secure for the children.Neil and Barry always made sure that there was never any danger around and always maintained a high level of awareness making sure simple things like gates were closed and secured or any work areas were danger free. I also might add that all the kids thought that they were hilarious when they saw them and that in itself of making everyone feel at ease is one of many reasons why we will use Neil again and recommend him to anyone!

Was really impressed with these guys. Helped me order the correct garden door and then went to pick up extra bits when the order didn't turn up correctly, for no extra cost and couldn't have been nicer about it, even though it was a pain for them. Really cheerful and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would use them again, for sure.

Conversion of a garage into a bedroom with wet room and desk area. The look and feel we were looking for was a alpine style chalet. This was very much achieved and exactly as we'd hoped for. The workmanship, skill, professionalism, reliability and level of detail were carried out at all times. My wife and I recently had a complete garden overhaul which involved leveling our garden, installing approximately 40 railway sleepers, laying a large Indian sandstone patio, and new lawn, all of which was completed in a little under two weeks. Nathan and Jimmy were a pleasure to have around, they were polite, professional, hard working , and always arrived on time. I would highly recommend NJC building services, their work is to an extremely high standard and they are only happy at the end of a project if the customer is happy. Repointing- 21 Oct 2015
I hired Terry to repoint and repair the brickwork of the front elevation of my house as the brickwork was beginning to blow out. Terry advised that the reason for this was that when it was previously done cement was used instead of lime morter, which allows the brickwork to breath. The reason for this is that brick houses built prior to 1967 used lime morter in the building of it so this should be replaced like for like when required. Terry spent 10 days cutting out all the old cement proved quite difficult and repointing with the lime render. In addition he repaired some of the brickwork. The work that he completed was fantastic and it looks amazing. Terry is one of the old school tradesmen which are hard to find nowadays. He is honest and will not rip you off like many other cowboys that I have encountered. He is a mild mannered man who quietly gets on with the job and isn't the type who are preoccupied with telling you how much its going to cost you! I would definitely hire him again and strongly recommend that you do too.
