James (Electrician) Richard (Joiner) Martin (Plasterer) Andy (Builder). From the very first meeting, it was clear we were in safe hands. Steve was honest, approachable, and completely transparent about the process, timescales, and costs involved. We agreed a payment activity schedule to manage costs and payments throughout the project. Throughout the project, the team proved themselves to be incredibly trustworthy and dependable — they turned up when they said they would, kept us informed, and delivered exactly what they promised, with no hidden surprises. The quality of the build is outstanding, and every part of the project — from the extension itself to the landscaping and the garden workshop — has been finished to a very high standard.

Please people save yourselves and move on to the next tradesman. All the work by Paul Stoker was condemned by both quality surveyor and building inspector. The whole lot had to be knocked to the ground. Comprehensive reports were compiled with unbelievable faults from foundation course out by 35mm from front to the back of property, weak cement mixes (from using Fairy liquid - 7 different colours on just one wall, side walls height out by 65mm, bond out so brick on brick, to name just a few. All neighbours complained about the constant shouting, swearing and arguing from the site. His labourers (track suit bottoms gang) looked as if they were on parole from HMP. Alarm bells should have rang when he turned up with only a spirit level and trowel, l had to supply cement mixers, generator and even tape measures and buckets! Was taken in by his 'been doing it for 40yrs and tools nicked' story. I paid him up front for work that was not done and what was was beyond substandard. Police even caught one of his people stealing from my site! All I can say is go with you instincts. If someone turns up with a cigarette hanging out their mouth, flea bitten clothes and teeth that look like he's eating a packet of Quavers, say 'thanks but no thanks'.

Gary and his team cut corners from the beginning. A job that was quoted to take 4-6 weeks ended up taking around 14 weeks and even then was not completed by gary and his team due to him walking off the job. They used substandard materials which meant things needed replaced before the job had even finished. Overall the “finishing touches” for the job were absolutely horrendous. A child’s playhouse had nails sticking out of the wood. The nails in the fence had all rusted, the lawn wasn’t laid correct so couldn’t drain. The level on extension was completely wrong. Gary himself was quite rude and Him and his team were extremely unreliable. 100% would not recommend, save your time, money and sanity

I would like to thank you Johnny for the fantastic job you have done, Johnny came out and looked at the job the day after my posting, he managed to patch in my very old pebble dashing after having a window moved and the back door blocked up, he worked full days in this cold damp weather to get the job finished, I also had a brick step put outside of the patio doors and a lovely brick planter built Johnny even suggested putting some capping on top which finished it off very nicely, he even brought me some soil and put it and the plants I had, into the planter for me, cleaned and washed the yard out, so when I got home there was nothing for me to do, I was very impressed he didn't have to do all that, the price was as quoted, I have already asked for a quote for another job that I need done.
