We recently hired Altin to do our mansard loft conversion and honestly, it was a really good experience from start to finish. He was always on time, worked really hard, and his whole team put in a lot of effort every day. Communication was easy and straightforward, which made things much less stressful for us. The project was finished on time as agreed, and we’re really happy with the quality of the work. Altin was also super helpful whenever we had questions and helped a lot with building control, which made a big difference. It’s quite a messy job (cutting through the ceiling and putting in a staircase), but they did everything they could to keep things as clean and tidy as possible, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and are very happy with how everything turned out. I’d definitely recommend Altin to anyone thinking about a loft conversion.

We hired Luca for a job that involved a variety of work across our entire flat. Being totally new to renovation work and having been stung by other builders, meeting Luca was a breath of fresh air – he was friendly, helpful and honest. Luca did an great job for a very reasonable price. He’s fairly new to contracting bigger jobs, but he’s got a lot of previous experience as a tradesman and his plastering in particular was perfect – we’ve had loads of compliments on the quality of his walls and ceilings. He was always on time, always communicated with us fully, and was a pleasure to have around the flat. He made a real effort to keep disruption as minimal as possible and was very patient with us about stuff needing to be moved from one place to another. It wasn’t the easiest job and there were a couple of problems and extras, but Luca takes a lot of pride in his trade and worked extremely hard to keep us happy. We had a couple of plumbing issues arise but he went well above and beyond to resolve them, coming back for 2 days after the job was due to be finished to make sure that everything was working properly. This is far more than we expected, and we did really trust that Luca wasn’t the sort of person that would leave anything unfinished. We’re so chuffed that we met Luca and with the excellent work he did, and would love to work with him again. Luca is going to go on to big things, so if you get the chance to hire him now, we'd recommend him without hesitation.

I contacted Jamie regarding rebuilding/repairing my driveway wall, came out without delay to price it up and his quote was very reasonable, explained how he was going to do it, even came back to do a bit of prep the same day. He ended up doing an excellent job, cleaned up after himself and I was delighted with the end product, have already consulted him about other work, in conclusion Jamie is a very nice and polite young man and I am entirely happy to recommend him to anyone considering employing him

The guys from Fraser and Day were excellent. They worked all day non stop. They demolished the damaged wall and erected a new wall. Both guys were curtious and helpful. I was extremely pleased with the finished wall and the way they cleaned up afterwards. I would most certainly recommend Fraser and Day.
