After Kieran got in touch about the work .We arranged a time and day when he could see what needed doing and give a price for it ,he turned up on time and gave me a fair price for the job which a few people didn’t want to take on . Kieran and is mate completed the job over 2 days and did a very good job I will definitely use Kieran in the future for further work ,a nice lad and very reliable and keep me informed of all aspects of the work and keep in touch with texts with times he would be arriving

I had Stephen do many jobs for me, complete bathroom renovation, complete kitchen renovation, spiral staircase up into attic room creating beautiful underneath for storage, all which he designed himself. He plastered many walls and ceilings and laying wood flooring in my living area and replacing many doors. The work Stephen has carried out for me is outstanding, he is very professional in all duties of work. He is a very reliable worker, always on time and never missed a day. He is also a very clean worker which is important when customers are still using they homes to live In while work is being caried out. The original job posted was to repoint brickwork, as it was poor and I thought was the root cause of penetrating damp to an internal wall. However Steve from SCJ was very thorough in assessing the issue, and after an initial inspection and removing some bricks, we could clearly see the cavity insulation was damp. SCJ removed it, repointed the wall where required, and also coated with Stormdry. Steve took time to explain the entire process, he advised on venting the wall and the team added appropriate vents for air circulation. Communication was very good and I'm very pleased with the outcome as the internal wall is now dry. Just a point to note that the actual process of removing cavity insulation is incredibly messy and probably should have been one of the first jobs in renovating my house, however still worth doing. I highly recommend SCJ they were very good in all aspects of the work undertaken. Steve is very experienced and I valued the advice he gave.

From start to finish we was kept informed on progress, delivered all material ready to start but due to the weather (on the friday) it was put off until the monday which we was happy about. Cleaned up any mess, took all rubbish away and even took time to look at another potential job on the house. Would highly recommend, will definitely be using again.

Justin is a rare find. He does what he says, turns up when he says, and gets on with the job. No waiting around, no chasing. His attention to detail and work ethic are outstanding. This has been a tricky project — reclaimed imperial brickwork, retaining walls, steps, coping stones — and plenty of twists and turns. There’s still lots left to do, but I’m already very impressed with his work. He’s still on site, with a few more months to go. I’ll share before-and-after photos once it’s finished.
