We hired Arra brickwork to complete what looked like a straight forward side extension, this soon became very complex due to the angle of the build and the roofing. Whilst we had our own expectations, Aushra was very helpful in presenting more ideas and suggestions in line with what we wanted. She even went as far as building sample model to show us what the build would look like. We found Arra brickwork - Aushra and Authur to be genuinely nice people, they are very polite and very tidy workers and put in so much effort to complete the build, even when we didnt expect them they were there working hard. We had full visibility of spend as Aushra was prompt at letting us know how much materials would cost including the initial quote for the build which was reasonably compared to what we had previously been quoted. We could not ask for a more trustworthy team of builders who cares about what they do and I will not hesitate to hire Arra Brickwork again for any more projects.

Tyler came to quote on a retaining wall which also went around the base of a tree. He was professional and enthusiastic from the start, unlike some other companies who suggested it was too difficult a job. Tyler and his team ended up also paving a small patio area and building a domed brick pizza oven. They did all of this within two weeks of their first visit and were happy to work weekends. We are thrilled with the final result, it looks beautiful. I can’t fault Tyler and his team. They are highly skilled and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to employ them again.

He is assiduous in his preparation, checking some tricky measurements at least a couple of times before starting. He kept me informed of progress and checked in to ensure I was happy with the job. He turns up when he says he will and works hard to make sure things go to timeframe.

Michael talks a good game, but he’s proven unreliable, unprofessional and ultimately a time waster. During the initial visit Michael said all the right things reassured me, after I explained a previous builder had let me down, that he would never do that. He pointed to his glowing reviews on MyBuilder, and based on that and his confident manner, I hired him. After waiting 10 days for work to begin, he turned up briefly, left without explanation, and never returned. Despite repeated promises and attempts to reschedule, he failed to follow through or communicate and ultimately ghosted me. His worker, Noel, showed up unannounced at 7.00 am the following morning, accessed my scaffolding, removed some items and left without any explanation or further contact which is extremely bizarre. All I asked for was a start date that suited him. Instead, he’s wasted my time, left me with additional scaffolding costs and no progress. If Michael couldn’t commit to my job, he should have just let me know

I hired Patrick for a seven course decorative shed base and I would thoroughly recommend him. Aside from his work (which was excellent) he was very quick to respond to text messages, turned up on time, keen to discuss with me what I wanted and explained to me how the same could be achieved. He also went above and beyond by advising on the next steps of my project which I will be doing myself (roof construction on the shed). Overall I'm very happy with the service provided.
