We have extensive experience of working with new, reclaimed and restoration materials to blend sympathetically old and new - whatever the age of the property from new build to listed. He quoted quickly at a very reasonable cost, and was able to fit the work in to suit us at short notice. Scott arrived on time on the agreed start date and completed the job within the estimated time. He regularly kept us up to date with progress of the work and went to great lengths to ensure he did a good job and that the we were happy with the progress and the finished job. Scott was very professional and did a great job, explaining everything that needed doing from the start. He had to reschedule the work due to bad weather, but kept in touch throughout. I'm very pleased with the quality of his work and will definitely use his him again if I need any further work doing. I'm happy to recommend him to anyone needing building work done.

An Excellent team. One to keep in my address book. Nathan Hughes and his team were very professional from the outset. The quote he supplied was equal to the others I had sought. The team turned up on the (cold and wet) morning as agreed. The standard of their work is impeccable. They had a few unexpected problems which they coped with, as if it was all part of the job. The care taken by Keith, the digger driver, is notable, carefully avoiding the waste pipe and high tension cable that they exposed as part of the excavation. The footings were laid with care and consideration of the steep incline of the site. They left the concrete to set for 24 hrs and then laid the retaining wall which, when finished, looked as straight and strong as could be, putting the original, crumbling wall, to shame. This was left for a week, to dry, before they set about replacing the soil behind. During this time, Nathan dressed the original wall to tidy it and match the height of the new laid blocks. The infill was done with as much care as the removal had been. Nathan then returned and filled in between the two walls with lime chippings to facilitate good drainage. Over all, I can't praise Nathan and his excellent team, enough. The professionalism and care, the quality of work and clean, tidy condition that they left the area in every day, is second to none. I am happy to heartily recommend Nathan Hughes and will be happy to use the team again for any other projects that come up.

Really pleased with the finished result. Matthew took this job on even though it wasn't going to be the easiest of jobs due to the fact it's up several steps to the house/ garden we have no drive so material and skip were based over on the car park across a very busy road but that didn't put matthew off. Matthew and Craig worked hard and were so accommodating with everything we asked of them. They were hard working. Arrived daily just got on with the job. All waste had to be taken over to the skip so back and forth. They did an amazing job would highly recommend.
