I am disappointed that I did not put a review on the website at the time. Our experience with Steve and the team was excellent from start to finish. Keen to do the job and always full of good ideas and suggestions. Complete focus on our work outside of when sub-contractors needed the space and always explained. Pride in job and site excellent with cleaning undertaken daily as far as possible. Came in on time and in budget too. Would thoroughly recommend and know of a close neighbour who was delighted with our recommendation. Sub-contractors used good too particularly the plasterers.

He Agreed to do the job in 3 days at £650. 4 days into the job he was not 20% of the way done mainly because he was not doing full days. At this point I knew he was going to expect more than what we agreed (£650) so I renegotiated that he would finish the job at £900. 2 weeks after the job had commenced he was finished in his mind. The finishing in the porch was beyond rubbish. The glass wall was done but the finishing was far from acceptable (the corners are sharp). The fire exit door does not open and close properly though it does with some effort. No canopy was fitted although I compromised and I asked him to fit a metal bracket to front and rear of door which was easier than fitting a canopy to save him time. He only fitted a bracket to the front of the door and left the rear with an excuse of course. The place was left filthy. The rubbish and excess material were not disposed off. I personally ended up finishing the glass wall and I am now employing something to do a proper job on the porch. I paid him £740 and withheld the remainder. Will never hire someone with no feedback or poor feedback again!!!

Nick has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always very polite, his work was neat and tidy and very considerate of others around him. He took the hassle out of building/renovation and even helped out with organising things once his job had finished. He originally came to quote on possible subsidance, which ended up not being subsidence at all and instead did some internal renovation for me by bricking up some doors and knocking through walls. I can definitely recommend Nick and will get him to do some work for me in the future.

Nile at Cadogan contracts was a pleasure to deal with. I have dealt with 20+ tradesmen in the past 5 years in many trades. Nile, and his painting team (esp Maurice), were the best I have ever encountered. From start to finish, they were highly professional and competent, and gave me a competitive quote. Nile's service included a PDF contract outlining clearly what was involved in the job. Maurice, who did the painting, came early in the morning and even on the weekend to finish the job to a tight deadline. He was extremely polite and courteous, meticulous in his work, and constantly asking for my feedback. He asserted many times that I, as the customer, should have the final say on whether the job has been done satisfactorily. Maurice did all the right things to prep the room: painting sheets, masking tape everywhere, removing/covering sockets, prepping surfaces, filling gaps, preserving character. He was extremely tidy and hoovered after himself. I would recommend Cadogan Contracts without hestiation. They were superb and I WILL be using them again in the future if I need work
