Neil was very helpful from then outset. Having provided some very useful input while assessing the job, he provided a reasonable quotation pretty quickly. Once awarded the job he turned up as expected and worked solidly throughout. His work was very good and he kept the work area clean and tidy. He was also willing to operate a digger mid way through the job when some additional earth removal was required. There was no drama and working with Neil was very easy. A really friendly but unimposing guy. Thanks Neil - I'll certainly pass your details on to anyone who needs any block or brick work doing and will certainly call if I have other similar work.

We chose Brian to carry out work on our chimney, because of his specialist credentials. This decision has been fully justified and we are delighted with the repair and renovation work he has carried out. This involved the re-pointing of the chimney stack, replacing the lead flashing and fitting a new pot and birdguard. The chimney looks brand new. Brian is very personable and a true professional, who takes a genuine interest in his clients needs. He cleared up the debris and removed any unwanted material. We would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Very impressed! I took a chance, having never used My builder before, Will responded and came to quote for the job. From the outset, was very impressed with how Will came across, his willingness to be flexible around us, and really bought into him from the initial meeting - so much so I didn't bother having anyone else to quote. Will and Harley have been working on the extension for a few days now, and still very impressed with both of them. They're polite, tidy, hard working, punctual, accomodating, and their work is very neat. They make bricklaying look effortless - it's a pleasure to watch them work. Yet to ask them a question about building that they haven't managed to answer, although I will keep trying. Their 'can do' attitude is very refreshing, and inevitably as things change on the job, they quickly quickly come up with solutions. Communication is no issue either. I've had to call and text numerous times with little questions or queries, and always happy to talk, even when he's balancing on a roof. Really looking forward to seeing our extension finished and the result of Will and Harley's hard work. Family members who have had a look at the extension so far have all been impressed with the work so far, and I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend these guys. Have to be two of the most genuine people and builders that you'll come across.

The job was to build a boundary wall including a gate and lay some hard standing in advance of a slabbed patio being laid. Eric made numerous suggestions that we had not thought of in the planning stage such as making the top 300mm of the wall have a cavity in which to put soil for plants and also the make it easy to mount a trellis. His knowledge of building regulations is vast and up to date and his general building skills show the many years of experience on the job. He was punctual, turning up when he said he would and always left the site clean and secure. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always willing to offer advice for other work I needed doing. I already have him attending to a new front door/frame and have recommended him to several family members.

They took the time to explain exactly what repairs were needed and kept me informed every step of the way. Alan did an extremely professional job installing a laminate floor to a bedroom and cutting and fitting a dado rail in our hallway, landing and stairs. He is an excellent builder/carpenter and his attention to detail has resulted in a fantastic finish ... our house has been transformed! He is also obliging and trustworthy, quick at the job and a fab person to have around the house. Highly recommended!
