Hi I'm Mark Costello, I have worked in the Building Industry for over 40 years I starting as an apprentice bricklayer and served my time attaining Advance craft skills. I then joined an Excellent Sub Contract Bricklaying gang and honed my skills for another five years before starting up my own gang mainly working on New housing sites.. My workload increased considerably as I'd built a very good reputation for quality work which enabled me to directly employ 15 tradespeople. I have done many house building contracts from start to finish for various clients as well as spec building on several sites of my own. I have been put forward for LABC awards on two occasions. I have converted a Rope Factory and a Nursing Home into dwellings which were awarded best conservations in Dorset. Since relocating to Newbury I have built houses in Bourton on the Water, Uffington, Bourton North Dorset as well as Newbury. I work to the highest standards and my attention to detail is what sets me apart. My focus now is on taking on smaller projects closer to home.

Been working in the trade for 5 years now and have started doing more jobs on my own now and want to expand into private jobs. I can work around 20-30 miles from where I am, I’ve worked in London and Norwich. My skills are I’m a bricklayer, can do of landscaping and fence fitting. I can also do plasterboard tacking and other bits. The reason we are the best for the job is we take time and pride in our work and won’t leave a job till it’s perfect.
