A new gen example of the infamous cowboy builder type.. Kay was hired to fix the problem with a garden door not closing due to wall movements. He quoted for rebuilding the wall, a drastic and pricey but sold as definitive solution. While at work with the well, he said he was not going to put back the door himself - he subcontracted a handyman who was working on my gate to install it a week after (to allow time for drying). Sadly, we paid him the day he layer down the last brick - and since then it has been a problem after another . The disposition of the brick at the tof the left column differ from those on the right, which looks very odd. His answer? “that this is feature, not a problem” 😂. The wall is actually unstable and it does not hold the door cannot be installed. Rather than taking ownership and coming to check the structural issue, he is throwing the ball back to the handyman he has subscontractedf to install the door. Ultimately, a theft. Stay away, not to be trusted.
