I'm a sole trader with a City and Guilds NVQ level 2 in Brickwork and 20 years experience in Groundworks, Brickwork and Hard Landscaping. I've also acted as supervisor for a large groundworks and civils company a few years ago - in partnership with Tamdown on a council housing project on the Isle of dogs. Having been a sub-contractor for so long working mainly on bigger sites, I made the decision to start up on my own and provide my services to the public on smaller projects.

We are not the type of team that we can do everything, in our team the plumber is plumber , electrician is not bricklayer as well, everyone is doing what they trained for. I am a London bricklayer 😃 I started as a labourer in my teens and then a Bricky’s labourer in my early twenties and steadily worked my way onto the tools where I was able to watch and learn from the older Brickies ( no substitute for experience) and working on delicate jobs like refurbs. Using traditional methods ie lime mortar and weather struck pointing and sometimes using imperial bricks which are little bigger than today’s metric but building in inches rather than millimetres . I also like a new build too always something to learn - Please allow me to work with you to share our vision and get the job done , many thanks Samuel
