Fully electrify a new rear, 2 storey side, porch extension and shed. Arek was always the first one on site, worked very professionally, interacted well with the other builders and was happy to accommodate minor changes to the project. He suggested improvements to the the lighting layout and configuration were taken aboard. I highly recommend him and I'll also be using him to change my house consumer unit in the coming weeks.

We recently had our kitchen refurbished by Dumitru, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. He’s one of those rare builders who combines professionalism with real care for the details. He worked efficiently, kept the place tidy throughout the project, and always cleaned up after himself — which honestly made such a difference when living through a renovation. What I appreciated most was how supportive he was when it came to choosing the right materials. He guided us through the options without ever pushing, and his advice proved spot-on. The final result is exactly what we hoped for and more. If you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and easy to work with, I totally recommend Dumitru P.S. For anyone curious about the scope of the work: Dumitru changed our worktop, removed the old tiles and redid the flooring with laminate, installed a new cooker and hob, fitted a new sink, repaired the walls after the new boiler went in, and repainted everything. I recently hired A1&PM to carry out structural repairs on my house, including replacing window lintels and providing complex temporary works to support the structure during the repairs. They also patched plaster, skimmed a wall, rendered, and repointed an external wall. From start to finish, the team was professional and reliable, turning up on time with all the necessary tools and materials. Protecting carpets and covering furniture. Their knowledge and expertise were evident throughout, and they completed the work exactly as promised. The pricing was very competitive, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. I was initially sceptical due to some past review, but my experience couldn't have been better. I would definitely use their services again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. Fantastic work—thank you!

I hired Carl for a garden and patio project. He seemed confident and knowledgeable at first, and his team did do a good job with the initial garden clearance and preparation. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks in it became clear the rest of the work wasn’t up to standard. The paving was laid in the wrong pattern and sloped towards the house rather than into the garden as we had discussed. Many slabs could be lifted by hand, and the retaining wall was built with unsuitable materials. There were also delays with the slab delivery and confusion over the fence panels, and I often felt I had to keep chasing for updates. Carl blamed his bricklayer, who was really bad, but a good contractor should recognise and stop poor work. To his credit, Carl refunded all my money, as he knew I had to hire other contractors to sort this out. I could see he genuinely felt bad about how things turned out. He’s a nice guy, but the workmanship was poor and I couldn’t recommend him for this type of job.
