Apologies, thought I had left a review already. Hired Richard to renovate my kitchen and glad I did. Outstanding job and very knowledgeable. Richard also carried out work at my fathers house and was very helpful. Gave me lots of help and would 100% recommend. Richard carried out lots of building work, wiring, boarding, insulation, plastering, painting and tiling. Constantly have people commenting on how well the kitchen turned out and it was all down to Richard. Especially the tiling. We are so glad that we hired Paul and his team to build our extension. Everyone was so professional and friendly and tidied up at the end of each day, which kept our neighbours happy too as there was a skip and a portaloo on the pavement outside which were regularly emptied and cleaned during the project. As well as a lovely extension the plumber (another Paul!) made a superb job of upgrading our central heating system and at the same time we decided to go for it and have a new kitchen too. This involved taking down the ceiling and having new spotlights fitted before the ceiling was replaced, the whole room was replastered and then a fabulous kitchen was built to match the cupboards in the utility extension. This was fitted by the carpenter Rob who even constructed a cupboard to fit the ironing board into! The whole project took 11 weeks which was longer than anticipated but as we had added extra work to the original plan this could not be avoided. We are delighted with the finished result. It was expensive but worth it as the quality of the work is excellent and the build blends well with our original home. The building was a small barn conversion. Ritchie did all the jobs including electrics, installing the kitchen, plastering, stonework, roof and doors and windows. The stonework he did on the walls is very impressive. Ritchie does not like taking short cuts. Everything has to be done to the best of his ability and he doesn't like stopping until it's right. When building my property he worked closely with the building inspector which meant when it came to signing off the building there were few problems. Ritchie is a first class builder with very exacting standards. If you employ him the standard of the work will be high.Latest review:
