Greg recently completed a full bathroom renovation for us including replacement of all fixtures, new tiling, painting and finishing. We're very happy with the final result - Greg was punctual, diligent and had great communication throughout the project. On top of this, he's a lovely, pleasant guy. I hired DS Developments to completely landscape my small front garden. This involved clearing and levelling the area; moving and re-securing a bike shed; laying a patio and lawn; and a number of finishing touches. The area went from somewhat of an embarrassing eye-sore to an area of pride. One that several neighbours have already made compliments about. David provided a professional service from start to finish. His quote was more than I expected, but his knowledge and vision gave me the confidence to select his services. He provided a selection of options and stuck to budget; adapted well to new ideas/suggestions; and informed in advance where the cost would be impacted. He and his team also were as tidy and considerate as possible and I highly recommend their services.

Sam came in to view the job promptly and gave me the quote. However looking at the mess he had to repair in the morning, he suggested that everything had to be removed and completely new fences have to be put. He gave me reasonable quote for the entire job and did a fab job. Really happy with Sam's work and will definitely call him again if I need anything in future. I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

I hired Valentin for our job of removing an arch as well as widening a hatch and then re-plastering. I am so glad I did! He was a courteous and reliable worker. Very flexible with timings and honouring our requests. He was very neat and tidy too. His price were fair and he did a superb job to a high standard. I would hire him again for any job and I would happily recommend him to others.

Did everything this chap asked. Didn’t shortlist anyone else, ordered my own supplies and arranged for disposal of rubbish. We agreed a date which was the same date the supplies would arrive. 5 days before I texted him to confirm arrangement and he informed me he wouldn’t be able to come that day. Had to get someone else to do the job. In my opinion unreliable.

I gave him the opportunity as I was desperate to find someone fast,and didn’t have much success on here.Soon as he accepted,he was already asking for cash beforehand to get materials.I thought you know what,his company details are online,what can go wrong so I did.As his team started the job, they told me I needed to have 2 fences erected as they were badly damaged and deteriorating.I thought heck,why not,might aswell do it now so I gave him again, the opportunity to make some extra business with us.Again,was asked for some pre payment to get the materials,all in cash.All was finished within 2days of the weekend.Fence looked fine,but the roof just looked like a cowboy job.I didn’t complain,as it was done fast,with all the stress with opening a new business,it was one less headache out of the way.After 1 day of rain,the roof was already leaking,like absolutely everywhere.Called him, and he got someone to come by a few days after to fill in more silicone.(Very suspect job again).I thought fine, aslong he’s responding and trying to fix the situation.Fast forward few days later, bearing in mind the shop isn’t open and I’m not always there when it’s raining,it rained again and it was leaking in some areas again.Whatsapped him which is how we normally communicated,called him,read my messages but no reply. Now he has blocked me.Seriously, how he knows I’m opening a business soon this is how he wants to treat his customers. Simply give me back my money or fix the problem, simple!

Martin was in regular contact with me to arrange dates for the work, which was dictated by the weather and arrived on the days at the pre-arranged times. The guttering work was tricky, but Martin was able to recommend a workable solution. Martin and Phil were both very hard working and remained on the job to clean up afterwards. Overall a good experience with good results and would have no hesitation in recommending.

He’s one of those rare builders who combines professionalism with real care for the details. He worked efficiently, kept the place tidy throughout the project, and always cleaned up after himself — which honestly made such a difference when living through a renovation. Eddie repaired an old york stone doorstep that had cracked, broken and collapsed. It was a tricky job to put it back together in a way that looked natural. Eddie did a quality job for a good price. He was punctual and polite, completed on time, kept things neat, and filled the gaps between the paving slabs on my patio as an added bonus. Would highly recommend and will use again.
