Right from our 1st meeting I knew Iain was the right person for the job. He explained what he was going to do and how long it would take. Rain did delay the job for a week but Iain was in constant contact keeping me updated. Iain is your old fashioned typical trades person, turns up at the crack of dawn raring to go and just gets on with it. Im delighted with the work Iain has done, I would hire Iain again without hesitation and srongly recommend him to people I know. Thanks Iain

Highly recommend! Replaced three lintels above my upstairs windows. The work was carried out in a timely manner, I was walked through each step as the job progressed. My house was originally harled in 1960 and the first bag of chips they'd bought was close but not an exact match. They came back the following day after searching central Scotland for the exact chips already on the house. They were always professional and courteous. Due to the cost of scaffolding, I couldn't afford to wrap the whole house, they were kind enough to complete the work over three weekends for the same price, as I had to have the scaffolding taken down and rebuilt under each window which happened to be on three sides of the house. Each time the guys took all the old lintels and rubble away and left the place as they found it. They even cleared my path and drive of snow. I found them to be knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy and won't hesitate to use them again. I got multiple quotes in, theirs was somewhere in the middle but I got the strongest sense from them that they were the most experienced and would cause the least friction. I'd been let down by previous builders and had the extent of the work exaggerated by others. I knew what was involved so could eliminate some based on the stories they were telling. I can't say enough good things about these men, you won't be disappointed if you use them, they're genuine guys, it was a pleasure start to finish.

Chris has proved to be very capable and has done a first rate job of my initial posting on My Builder. He has extensive knowledge of stone and masonry work and is able to explain things clearly and really cares about leaving a quality finish. The initial brief was to rebuild a very old brick wall. Most other tradesmen wanted just to knock it down and replace with concrete blocks but Chris saw the value in cleaning and reusing the old brick to rebuild the wall and he has achieved a brilliant result. I would highly recommend Chris and have already engaged him in further work building a patio. He has now completed this to a very high standard and helped source materials at great prices.

Richard did an excellent job of fixing my front step by removing old tiles and replacing it with new slabs. Our step looks fantastic and he cleaned up everything too. A really nice guy, reliable and does excellent work. Definitely recommend him.

After posting a job on my builder. Terry contacted me to chat about the job, terry was very clear on the phone we agreed a price, start time and he reassured me he would complete the job in the 1 day. I had been let down by another bricky so needed the job done to prevent a delay in our building schedule. Terry turned up the next day on time, we had a chat about the job and he got straight to work. I was Terry’s labourer for the day and it was an enjoyable experience and I even learnt a few things. Terrys overall work was to a very high standard and my new wall looks great. I would highly recommend terry for further work and he is coming back in several weeks to carry out more work in my garden. Overall - on time, high standard of build, would highly recommend and an overall nice guy to spend they day with. Thanks Sean

The boys turned up exactly when they said they would, quoted me a fair price for the job and started it soon after I had accepted the quote, that impressed a lot. The quality of the work is excellent, they tidied up after the work was finished… I’d get them back for future business without question.

James built my stone garden walls all the way round my garden. I couldn't have been happier he has done a great job. He arrived when he said he would and always kept in touch with what was happening.
