I have been in the building trade as a multi trade for over 30 years and have been building extensions and cabins ,garden walls fitted wardrobes, fitted kitchens and bathrooms, I was a site bricklayer / forman for five years and have recently left a firm i worked for for three years to go back out on my own . I am looking for brickwork, kitchen fitting ,tiling, fitted wardrobes door hanging and general building and maintenance work.

I have over 15 years experience working on the tools. I started building work with my Dad when I was still in school and joined him professionally when I was 19, I am now 37. I started on suspended ceilings and plaster boarding walls and ceilings. Then I moved into more residential works doing extensions and refurbishments. I am a London bricklayer 😃 I started as a labourer in my teens and then a Bricky’s labourer in my early twenties and steadily worked my way onto the tools where I was able to watch and learn from the older Brickies ( no substitute for experience) and working on delicate jobs like refurbs. Using traditional methods ie lime mortar and weather struck pointing and sometimes using imperial bricks which are little bigger than today’s metric but building in inches rather than millimetres .
