Well we made an excellent choice with choosing Will. So friendly and open is a major bonus. The quality of the work and his professionalism cannot be faulted, fitted 3 doors awaiting arrival of a 4th being made to measure. Handmade outside gate produced and quality is superb and quality fixings used. Complete skirting fitted in kitchen, living room and entrance room at back door and if didn't know you would think it was a single piece as joints and corners just about invisible. If your after a joiner we feel you wont go far wrong in dropping Will a message. 100% satisfaction

I posted the job this morning after being let down by another builder and John came out straight away and started work (on a Sunday how great is that!) He has completed the work a curved garden wall and pillar to a high standard (and I’m a bit of a perfectionist ) he’s clean, tidy and professional leaving me very happy with the job, It looks like it’s always been there! I would highly recommend to anyone and will be from now on! I will be needing some more work done so will be contacting you again. If any one is looking then johns your man. He’s done a superb job at very short notice and I can’t thank him enough. Thank-you

We hired Nigel to remove an internal wall and insert an rsj to support the floor above. He also bricked up a window for us and did an excellent job of both. Punctual and did exactly what he said he would. Would def recommend him and hire him again for any further work.

I would highly recommend Charlie and his team to everyone. I am 100% satisfied with the quality of their work. They are all extremely polite and hard working. They built me a stone wall at the end of my patio, with pillars and steps leading down to my garden. Plus a small ornamental stone boarder wall for my flower beds. I think it looks lovely and has vastly improved the look of my garden. Phase 2 will be to finish off the patio and AstroTurf.

I am very pleased with the job Dan has done - building a wheelchair ramp using recycled bricks to match the original house. He kept to his estimate, worked as he planned through inclement weather, and was careful to leave everything clean and tidy. He dug the foundations by hand and organised the delivery of concrete, etc. working well with others. The particular design asked for a series of curved walls and required a lot of skill. The Building Inspector was complementary of quality of what he has done and his work has made a virtue of what was needed. I can recommend Dan.

If I could give Aaron (the owner) more than 5 stars I absolutely would! Impeccable service from start to finish. I found out about AGF through a friend & when approaching them I was impressed by the quotation given to us for the amount of work that we needed doing, thought maybe it was too good to be true at first, but it wasn’t - we certainly bagged a bargain! High standard finish to our property for a fraction of the price my neighbour paid for hers, she even commented that ours look much better than hers do, bonus! Aaron was professional throughout and is a lovely & down to earth person. We asked if we were due a roof replacement due to a leak we had, he was honest and told us we already have a good quality roof that just needs a small repair, I’m sure many tradesman would have jumped at that opportunity to overcharge us for something we didn’t need, but he didn’t do that & was honest in his advice throughout & carried out the work to a high standard. I was impressed that as the owner that Aaron does the main bulk of the work himself, in my experience the owners tend to leave the grafting to the employees but he gets stuck right in there and is definitely a perfectionist with his work. He’s informative to his clients and answers questions (and I had many questions), he’s pleasant and friendly and even had the approval of our 4 year old who never talks to anyone! The work was completed in a timely manner, to a perfect standard, for a great price. He even did extra for me like using leftover cement to stick back a step on the front garden that had come loose, plus other small jobs. Absolutely lovely guy who goes above and beyond for his customers, and I’d certainly recommend him to anyone. Will definitely be calling him back for anymore work we need doing. If you’re looking for a builder and in 2 minds about how to choose - choose this one, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks Aaron!

Very disappointed as I thought the job was executed to the expected standard. However, a friend of mine who is a builder explained it was a short cut to what was supposed to be done. I was not at any point advices there were two options to the job as Mr Watson mentioned to my friend who tried to get an explanation . My neighbour has offered to supply a lintel free and the job to be done to the expected standard by my friend who felt sorry for me . I work hard for the community around Nottinghamshire and left traumatised by the whole situation. Regards
