- Get in touchHired on a day rate. However, they were turning up late everyday and leaving early. There was a lot of standing around/vaping/on the phone. Progress wasn't being made and the days were adding up so very expensive for little work done. The bricklaying was not done to a good standard and eventually the job was left altogether. They brought honesty, knowledge, alacrity and humor to my build - we laughed until the cows came home for milking with knitting, home cooking and family top of the agenda. My fire surround is the beautiful testament to their work and they did exactly what it said on the Cotswold Stone. Working with respect in my home, their manners are impeccable. Ivor and Troy cleaned up every day making sure their tools were safely stored for the next day. I have asked them to return next year to soundproof a wall for me.
