Danny came to visit us in February to view our job. He gave us a good quote, which we agreed on, and we arranged for him to start work on 23rd April. In the meantime we have bought everything we needed for a full bathroom refit. The new shower, toilet, panels, cupboards etc etc are all sitting in our spare bedroom ready to go. Sadly Danny DID NOT TURN UP. We have phoned, left messages, texted on numerous occasions, but HE IS NOT ANSWERING HIS PHONE. Do not deal with this man. He is completely unreliable.

We agreed the job and price, Richard asked me to buy the sanitary wear so it was all on site in time which I did, and he was to adjust the estimate accordingly. The date and time for the job to start was agreed, even parking was arranged. Then he stopped responding to my messages, emails and phone calls and simply didn’t turn up. No communication, no apology, no offer to reschedule, nothing. I see that messages were read yesterday, 5 hours after the job was due to start and still nothing. I had a lot of upheaval before the job was due to start and had made plans to be elsewhere while the job was in progress. Very poor behaviour, and now the job is back out for quotes which has caused unnecessary delay and inconvenience. I did worry he might have had an accident, and could have understood that, but it seems that is not the case.

FANTASTIC!!!Quoted quickly work commenced as quoted. 100%Professional. Ben & Jakes work is accurate to the millimetre. They find and make creative solutions. Nothing is a problem .Their polite helpful attitude is a pleasure to work with . Highly recommended. I will have them back for a fitted bedroom wall cupboards/cabinets. I just hope they are not going to be too busy after this review . I cannot recommend them highly enough.They go above & beyond. Thankyou so much.

The job required the removal of the first floor bathroom bath, toilet and sink, with some work to the layout and equipment. The bath was replaced by a shower and low tray, required due to progressive old age health issues on our part. The floor surface was replaced with lino with attention to quality of materials. Although taking a little longer than hoped for, the quality of the work was very good and finished to a good standard. Wall-boards were utilised in the replacement shower and the tray was fitted to a good standard. There were some issues which led to the timetable for the job in hand being unable to continue in one-process but this was by mutual agreement. The two workers were experienced in bathroom work and worked to a high degree of efficiency and the resulting conclusion was good and all the equipment is now frequently used. Some timely snagging has been agreed. Would we used them again? - yes.

They were hired to rectify the subpar work of a previous contractor. The previous builder had installed a pocket door system but failed to include any doors or construct the system properly. However, C. Oakes and Sons confidently assured us they could assist in installing the four pocket doors despite these issues. They successfully installed all four doors and sourced parts to create doorstops, as none had been incorporated into the system. We were very pleased with their work and will definitely engage their services again in the future.
