Hired this company to refit my en-suite. First day he installed the shower tray. 5 days later self levelled the floor. I had to sit on the floor to show him how to lay the floor, thing is can’t lay the floor in herringbone because he installed the tray before the floor. Grouted 3 times and now needs redoing SHALLOW THICK SHALLOW Insisted on £500 deposit. Day he started, wanted £500 for materials. When he says I’ll buy it you assume it’s included in quote. No on top! 3 days in and demanded £1500. Quote was £3100. Threatened to walk off raising his voice. We were reluctant DUE TO THE QUALITY OF WORK. In total £2570. I gave £70 cash. Like a toddler having a tantrum. More than half of work still to do. He is not qualified. Told me 9.5kw shower can be installed on 8.5kw wiring. He was told 3 times. Then says you agreed to pay on top AVOID. He is not qualified. Doesn’t have a clue what to do. SACKED ON DAY 5. REFUSES TO REFUND SO GOING THROUGH THE BANK IF THAT FAILS THEN SMALL CLAIMS COURT

We recently had our bathroom fully refurbished, including removal and replacement of the bath, sink, toilet, wall panels, and a new electric shower fitted. From the beginning, everything was professional and well organised. A payment plan and start date were agreed, and all work started on time as promised. Communication throughout the whole job was excellent and always spot on. The team were reliable, professional, and gave helpful advice on extra items that would be worth replacing, such as the floorboards. There was a small issue with a leak afterwards, but the after-service was excellent — they came out straight away and fixed the problem quickly with no hassle. Very happy with the finished bathroom and would definitely recommend.

I needed a boundary wall built and knew exactly what I wanted. It had to match a new-build property and comply with planning regulations. We spoke with several builders, but Eddie was the only one able to achieve what we wanted without compromise. Other builders said coping stones weren’t possible as they would overhang into the neighbour’s airspace. Eddie solved this by starting the wall a couple of centimetres back from the boundary, allowing the coping stones to be installed properly. He also fitted bespoke rails, despite others saying only off-the-shelf heights were possible or that custom rails would cost far more. Eddie also saved me money by allowing access to his trade discount on materials. He and Devon were clean, tidy, always accessible, and communicated clearly throughout. The price was very fair for the quality of work delivered. Eddie is a member of the Federation of Master Builders, which gave me reassurance about the standard of work. I would happily recommend.
