We had a nightmare . Bathroom done over two weekends. Shower leaked week one and dispite bucket loads of sealent it continued to leak. We found that a shower panel was cut 1.4 inches to short and had to fit a new shower tray seal ( thicker ) to cover gap and fix leak. Week two toilet and sink fired and after 5 days toilet leaked thru kitchen ceiling. Dean came out told us the toilet was faulty and left promptly. We had no option but to get an emergency plumber out who fixed the problem in 20 minutes ( not faulty at all ). No apology no thank you no beep you...we will be looking for compensation to get ceiling fixed . If he decides to return to property again . Maybe the job was to big for him .

I hired Joe to replace a couple of radiator valves, but unfortunately the job turned out to be bigger than just that. He communicated with me straight away and quoted for the job again. But he raised more issues after the second quote so the price went up again. He then replaced the valves, however upon finishing the job he’s left 2 holes in the wall as he said that’s not within the quote to fix the wall. Which is a bit of shame. I’d recommend him and he’s responded quickly and did the job, but I’d suggest to agree with the price after seeing the entire job if possible. And be better if also be able to fix the wall if there’s any damage etc.

Very happy with all the works carried out not only in the bathroom but in the rest of the house too. After consulting with Adam, I had more than just the the bathroom done. His team fitted new counter tops in the kitchen, fitted a new unit, sink and tap and fitted our appliances. The property was painted as well. Adam was considerate, accommodating and professional and did not hesitate to show me where I could save money, which was commendable. He went above and beyond the scope of the work initially outlined and fixed issues which we didn’t even know we had when first starting out. I would definitely recommend Adam and his team and no doubt will hire them for any future jobs.

Dafydd and his team have fitted a new welsh slate roof on part of our farmhouse, built a rear retaining wall, fitted surface water drainage to the rear of the building and rendered one of the two gable end walls in lime mortar. The jobs have been carried out to a very good standard and the workmen have been excellent in both carrying out the work and looking after the property whilst working there. They still have one gable wall to complete but due to weather conditions and the use of lime mortar this will be down when the weather improves. Whenever I have discussed any part of the work they have been quick to react positively. Overall really satisfied with the work and will be hiring them to fit new concrete floors inside the house and Dafydd has already organised a visit from a heating engineer to give a quote on central heating. One final point, the financial cost of the work completed has come in just as the initial quote stated which was very welcoming given scare stories you hear of every increasing bills. No such problem on this job and overall very pleased with Dafydd Lloyd's work. In my experience there a good friendly professional firm to hire.

We hired Daniel to retile our bathroom and fit a new bathtub. Ultimately we had to get someone else in to start the job again as a number of tiles were falling off the wall (one had smashed the new bath too). It turns out that the walls were not at all prepped....some of the tiles had been stuck on with the equivalent of 'no more nails'. The rest had been back buttered with a very thin layer of adhesive on the back middle of the tile and silicone in places. The tiles were unsafe as they were not bonded to the wall so would have fallen off in time. The tile cuts were not straight on some walls, the spaces between tiles were not level and ultimately the tiles did not line up in a number of places. Furthermore, I purchased 20 boxes of tiles, the idea was the downstairs toilet could be done at a later date ...all 20 boxes were used. The bathroom has now been re-done, I purchased new boxes of tiles as the majority of the old ones couldn't be used again and only 8 boxes have been used so it's really concerning that an extra 12 boxes have gone missing....I can see on the CCTV a stack were put into Daniels van so either 12 boxes have been wasted and damaged or they have just been taken. Overall, it was a massive waste of time and money but, My Builder were really helpful when we had to raise our concerns to them.

Took way too long with poor excuses for not finishing on time. Left no spare tiles and since one on floor has cracked. Cut corners on piping in my loft resulting in my hallway being flooded and costing to be re plastered and re decorated in hall. All because of lazy plumbing in loft. Don’t think he even trades as a builder any more thank goodness. Or this could happen to somebody else. AVOID

Kev renovated my bathroom really nicely ,however after one month my shower has started to leak causing my roof to fall. I have tried getting in contact with him however he keeps fobbing me off and has now blocked my phone. I have rang from a different number which he answered and said he’ll get back to me and not called back now. Very disappointed with him.

What is there to be said other than I wish I'd gone with someone else! After almost 9 weeks of extremely poor communication, regularly turning up late or in several instances not at all and then not bothering to come back at all without offering any explanation, my bathroom is still not finished and my downstairs cloakroom is just an empty room still in need of tiling and the suite installing. When he did turn up he would regularly leave after a couple of hours with an excuse of having to fetch something or other and then not returning The work he did do was generally of average quality with not much clearing up of the workspace afterwards, he did not have much in way protection of my carpets and I have to have them cleaned to remove some deep stains. All in all I cannot under any circumstances recommend him to anyone and will certainly not be having him back in my home to undertake any future work I may need doing.

I was very pleased with the solid service and great results from Colin and his team. From the initial consultation onward through every stage of the process, the interaction was easy, friendly and professional. My build work wasn’t straightforward, due to external complications outwith Colin’s control, but nevertheless communication was good and the team worked around these niggles with no complaints. This included them going the extra mile and working unsocial hours and weekends. At every point, advice from Colin and his crew was valuable and unbiased, and undoubtedly saved time, money and headaches down the line. The team were all punctual, polite and cleaned up after themselves. The final results for my bathroom were just what I wanted, and completed to a high standard. I will certainly be using Colin’s services again.

I complete all aspects of a bathroom installation myself with the exception of any plastering. Ahead of fitting tiles or bathroom suites I ensure all areas are fully prepared which may be boarding floors or walls, levelling floors and waterproofing all wet areas. I am an approved Schüter wet room installer and can fit under floor heating.

The bathroom has been completed to a high standard and attention to detail was looked at throughout the project. There were things that popped up during the work that resulted in a bit more work, but with the attention to detail it means that I know the job has been done completely and properly. If you want a proper job done then hire Nick as you'll know you will get a high quality and property job done. Pipework moved, radiators installed, waterproofed room, tiled fully, toilet in, sink in, shower enclosure in, extractor fan moved, you name it, it was done. I now have a fantastic ensuite bathroom that can be used to its full ability! Brilliant work.
