Came to the location and did the job there and then. He said all it needs is a seal between the tiles and the lead coming down the valley. He cemented the lead valley and painted it with bitumen. Didn't seal either side of the lead where it meets the tiles. I asked for the flash band to be removed which they didn't do and painted over it. Took three people, a ladder and about 30 mins and charged quite a lot for the job and already had the stuff in the truck which I assume was paid for by another customer, but that's not an issue, wherever profit could be made I guess. It doesn't mean the job should be done carelessly. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing". He guaranteed the job and said he'll come back if it didn't stop the leak and if it didn't work the second time, then he will give a full refund. I did call him as the leak continued but after several messages of excuses started ignoring my request. Very keen for a review. So thanks very much for your help and honouring your guarantee.

The work took longer to arrange than planned due to an over-run on other work and then the initial invoice for the work was quite high. Robin provided an explanation of the reason why this had work had taken much longer than expected and addressed the high bill complaint I made in reducing the price. The speedy response to the complaint was a very positive reaction and certainly allowed me to keep Holloway Bathrooms in the "use again " list. David

Gary changed the flusher for my toilet, fixed a problem with my hallway lights and fitted a sure stop switch in my kitchen (instead of the stopcock). Gary did an excellent job. He completed all of the work to a very high standard and charged me the price originally quoted. Gary was very friendly, I felt comfortable having him in my home. He didn't make much mess and cleaned up after himself. He fully explained to me what the problems were and what he'd done to fix them (in language I could understand)! I will use him again for any other jobs

I booked Andy for a complete bathroom refit, including tiling. Although he was friendly and polite and some parts of the job were done well, the finished job was far below expectation. There are too many issues to go into detail however the tiling is terrible - not flush to the wall, not cut straight, some were chipped and there are some holes in the grouting. 3 holes have been left in the new ceiling, which also has 2 very badly filled areas. 1 spot light dropped from fitting. Sink/toilet unit not fitted level. There are several other issues too. I was very disappointed given the excellent reviews I had read both on My Builder and Facebook. I gave Andy the opportunity to rectify (other than tiling) which he initially agreed to. I have had problems with the supply of the new tiles (tiles that I have already had to purchase once) so have had to rearrange dates, however he has now decided to walk away from the job. I now face the expense of a complete new refit. Some of these costs will be covered by the quoted labour which has not been paid to Andy, however I will still be considerably out of pocket. Needless to say I am not a satisfied customer. Photos are available if required.

Josh was quick at providing a super reasonable quote for bathroom fitting & came to do the job within a few days. He worked quickly and cleanly and I have to say the work he’s done is the best I’ve had from a tradesperson. He was so respectful in terms of keeping our house clean and once he’d left apart from the job being done there were no other signs that he’d been there. I would 100% recommend him and most definitely will have him back for any other work we need doing.
