Bathroom Fitter in St Agnes, Cornwall
I have over 25 years experience as a carpenter/Plumber, involved in house renovations where I learnt everything from plastering to tiling. In the last 10 years I have been working predominantly on out door designs including fasciars/soffits, decking and garden creations. However I have still been doing renovations and restorations along the way. I am an experienced and qualified project manager (prince 2 practitioner).

Bathroom Fitting- 26 Sep 2017
Amateurs - hired to refit downstairs bathroom and ended up with a totally unfit for purpose bathroom. Wrong pattern of tile put on wall, had to be replaced. He dropped and broke the new toilet, that had to be replaced. When supposedly complete, apart from bath panel it was found that EVERYTHING leaked. The toilet, the bath, the radiator, the sink which almost nearly fell off the wall and the shower mixer taps which were also leaking in behind the newly laid tiles and would of caused major problems for the future. Two tiles were put on the walls with broken corners and some of the tiles, so we now realise, were put on at a slant as the levels were incorrect and the grouting was atrocious. We have had to employ another bathroom fitter to come in and rectify all these problems and will have to live with the tiles after doing over 40 hours of work on them ourselves, as we can't afford the expense of replacing them. It's been a nightmare and heartbreaking!!!!
