We needed a level access shower as we are both disabled. This very pleasant man, gave us a written quote, a date set to do the job, deposit was paid. He told us on the eve of the job that he had to self isolate and gave us back the deposit. Three weeks later after lots of prompting he came back to look at the bathroom again and said it would now need extra work and would send a new quote. Two weeks later and no quote received. I had to get insurance company to contact him. Now he’s not interested in doing the job. All in all 7 weeks wasted. I would recommend taking out the insurance offered from My Builder though.

We hired Bill Dawson to replace a bath that a Window installer damaged, which would then be paid for by the installation company. After the company chose Bill's quote (who was the first to respond and we felt happy to use him) we booked him in October/November. The bath arrived damaged (not delivered to us by the way, this is what he told us) so it had to be re-ordered. Time passed, many excuses were given, appointments made with Bill were not kept, and days off wasted as Bill never turned up or contacted us to say he wouldn't be coming. I had told Bill that I had an email from MyBuilder asking if the job had been completed and would I like to leave feedback but that still didn't prompt the job in hand. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt and having to wait as the Window company were expecting his invoice, it became a standing joke that the damaged bath was still there. After 8 months of Bill not turning up when arranged, the insurance company closed the case, we had to buy a bath and fit it ourselves, without reimbursement. Total waste of time.

We had Jordan come and redo our bathroom, it was a tricky shape but he came up with some great ideas and colours for tiles. Looked awesome. We asked him to comeback and refit a cloakroom. Well priced, good quality work and good communication. We’re now moving house and will be contacting him to do some work on our new house. Would strongly recommend.
