However, I have also built extensions from foundation to final fitting, so all main building work is not a problem. BATHRO0M: we were extremely pleased with Girts and his team's work on our bathroom, which was done efficiently and to a high standard. We were also impressed with the advice he gave us and the fact that he did not press us to choose the most expensive options. In the end we made various improvements, including installing a folding shower screen, re-tiling and installing a wall mirror, rather than doing a major refurbishment. KITCHEN: in view of the excellent work they had done on the bathroom we then employed Tottenham Trade Ltd to do a complete kitchen refit. This involved stripping out the entire existing one, re-tiling, moving and replacing all the plumbing and wiring and installing new appliances and worktops. Girts and Max spent many hours working with us to arrive at plans which met our exact needs and gave us a firm quotation (which they stuck to without quibble). Again all work was carried out to a high standard and Girts dealt imaginatively, efficiently (and cheerfully!) with all kinds of unforeseen problems. He has also been brilliant about coming back to sort out a few snags. We are delighted with the new kitchen and recommend Girts and his company.

He worked hard and got the job done but it wasn’t stress free for me. I wouldn’t say don’t hire,but some things to note.1. He will take off doors but will charge to put them back on but he let me know. 2. He isn’t very good with patterned tiles so use AI to decide beforehand. I had to ask him to redo a bit that was just random tile bits and he wasn’t happy about it. He broke the wall to make two tiles fit instead cut correct angle.3. asked me what height I wanted the skirting, asked his advice& agreed to it. Later when he discovered both plug sockets sat at bit under the skirting, he said I should have thought about that when I decided on the height!It’s costing a pretty penny to have the sockets moved. 4. If you ask him to use self levelling compound or black grout he will complain a lot, even when (SLC) it and lots of pictures were in the job description he quoted for. 5. He cannot cut neat circles in tiles.

LDR Tiling is an outstanding artisan and an absolute pleasure to work with. Dimitri's work ethic, craftsmanship, and artistry are truly top-notch. He helped us complete three bathrooms/toilets, tiling the walls and floors, building custom bathtub covers, installing cabinets and shower screens, and painting the ceilings. Every task was executed to an exceptionally high standard. The hand-built bathtub covers are true works of art, and the quality of the tiling is flawless, blending beautifully with the rest of the decor. We hired Aurelian to finish the job that another tradesman walked out on and where we had a very unpleasant experience - not an easy ask. But really pleased we did. He was empathetic about our situation, flexible and reasonable. He did some tiling, painted two rooms and installed decorative large Victorian-style plaster coving which was a big job involving a lot of patience and sanding, and his attention to detail meant for a lovely finish. He was trustworthy and good to his word, will definitely be using again

He laid the tiles crookedly on the flat walls. The tiles had chips and cracks. The tap leaked immediately after his departure. The floor tiles moved away from the floor and cracked. The door was installed crookedly with a huge gap. The corners of the walls were just moulded with plastic and said it was normal. Inter-tile joints of different sizes. When using the level, you can see curvature everywhere, on the floor and walls. When he changed the lamp and the switch, he just bought the cheapest circuit breaker on the rope and it broke down after three weeks. Doesn't show or bring checks from the store. He hides all the information how much he spent on the materials. Not recommended!!!
